So only a black person can understand the struggle?
Remember Jim Zwerg? Of course not so I'll show you...

He was the white guy who rode with the freedom writers and got off first knowing there was a change he'd be killed.
You think he did this for fun or to look cool and fit in with black people? No, he did it because he felt the pain and struggle as strongly as any of his black peers.
Imagine a gay guy just got beat up for being gay. And then he walked up to a black person and said "You don't know what it's like to feel discriminated against. You're not gay so you'll never understand". He'd look pretty stupid wouldn't he?
The people affected in Katrina make up what, 1% of the black population?
Where did I say that?So only a black person can understand the struggle?
You still don't get it. You don't have to be apart of something to speak about the struggle.
I noticed you avoided it so I'll mention it again.
Gay people are discriminated against for being gay, black people are discriminaed against for being black.
2 very similiar things and you're telling me it's impossible for them to understand the hardships of each other?
A person who doesn't get hired because he's gay feels the exact same pain as a person who doesn't get hired because he's black.
That's like if I got shot in the arm and you got shot in the leg. Then I walked up to you and said "fuck off, you'll never understand what it's like unless until a bullet hits you in the arm".
Are they not 2 similiar things?
First off sexual orientation isn't visible. It can be concealed unlike the physical appearance of being black. So its vastly different my friend. Both can be defined as persecution but only of them can be hidden.
As to your example of being shot in the arm and me being shot in the leg I'll tell you this. Its wamore inconvient to lose the use of your leg than your arm so again the pain is vastly different. I don't buy pain is pain across the board but I do agree with trying to reduce it across the board. Like being poor and black in the US is worlds apart from being black and poor in Jamaica. We all have crosses to bare but all I ask is for you not to marginalize the size of mine.
My argument isn't gay vs. black people. My argument is that you don't have to be in a situation to understand the struggle of it.
That white guy I posted was there in the flesh. He was beaten up by a angry mob of whites. How many black people today can say they've even seen it happen in person?
Who's experienced more? The white guy who got beaten half way to death out of pure hate, or a black guy who's only experiences with racism is when people hold their purses tight once he enters the room?
It's quite sad if you think you have to be black to feel the pain.
Give me a break I've been dealing with some stupid people. Gotta try extra hard with them. The gentleman doth protest too much!
He also plagiarized Confederate poets like Henry Timrod, but hey ...I don't want my IQ to be lowered so I'm just gonna ignore you. bye
It's something you just have to gather over time, can't be easily explained in one post but I'll try...
Bob Dylan was the one who inspired John Lennon to take his music seriously and from there he went on to make the best Beatles album.
One of Jimi Hendrix most famous songs(All along the watchtower) was a cover of a Dylan song.
Those are two big and obvious choices but if you listen to music from that era he influenced nearly everyone.
There's music before Bob Dylan and there's music after, he changed it forever. Plain and simple.
You wanna talk about Tupac and how he spoke about black culture? Bob Dylan has him beat for miles.
Before Tupac was even born Dylan wrote "Blowin' in the wind" which became an athem for the Civil Rights movement.
He also wrote songs about Emmet Till and Rubin "Hurricane" Carter.

Years before Tupac was doing whatever he was doing......Bob Dylan was there protesting against racism and playing his songs at rallies.

He started a folk movement, had everyone tunned in and paying attention to him. Then once he got tired he left it all behind and started a counter-culture rock revolution.
You know those guys who go against popular culture? Like the guys who make music and say things like "we don't want to be famous" or "we're not going with whats popular, we're gonna do our own thing".
Dylan was the original to do that.
Tons of other things also, I can't really explain it to you. Gotta find out on your own.

White boys are always always always trying to take credit for shit. I knew he was white when he claimed the first "rapper" was white.Cuckold!!! I knew you weren't a brother. Especially that comment about your girl spitting your spunk back in your mouth.
White boys are always always always trying to take credit for shit. I knew he was white when he claimed the first "rapper" was white.
That snowballing shit was also a big red flag. He probably let's a black dude cum in his wife and he sucks it out.
UGH
Just a clear example of how "our" treats black people in times of crisis but if you want me to give you more precise examples sure why not?
Blacks are more likely to be arrested than any other race. Fact!
Blacks are more likely to be executed for the same crime whites committ. Fact!
There is almost triple the unemployment amongst black men compared to white men. Fact!
When was the last time you heard of anyone other than a black male being assaulted by the police or being killed by the police?
If you're white and I'm assuming you are, its cool for you to be here but just understand if you don't personally have to experience something there's no way you can speak about it.
So where in the history of HIP HOP do they list BOB Dylan as being the first to rap? Show me bitch!! BTW you're the ignorant fool coming on this site talking about drinking your own sperm in the Swallowing thread.
Ah damn you guys caught me I'm really white.
In my free time I like to go to sites partially dedicated to black males. Just as I'm sure the black guys around here visit KKK forums every now and then right?
You guys are also right about Adults being smarter then teens. Silly me, how could I forget older person=smarter person.
White boys are always always always trying to take credit for shit. I knew he was white when he claimed the first "rapper" was white.

You may or may not be white, but you do give a pretty good imitation of a snotty little 14 year old white girl.
Older doesn't always mean wiser, but if you kids would shut up & listen to grown folks that have actually been through shit, you'd learn something.
Hows this? Because I believe that humans are wise enough to understand other peoples pain?
Been through what? Go ahead and enlighten me on something you've been throught that I haven't. I'm gonna even play along and pretend that you know what I've been through.
Hey, I'm black and you're white. So if we're going by what the idiots were saying in this thread.....you will never understand so there's nothing you can tell me about race. Isn't that right?
best thing eminem has ever done
