The golden age wasn't that Golden you know. Southern rap didn't suck as much back then compared to now. The South is responsible for the majority of the bullshit ring tone raps. And there are some wack white-rappers from the south contributing as well.

I don't know how old you are but this conversation has been going on for YEARS.

Old school - New school, Fusion, Crossover, New Jack, (on and on and on)

...the south does put out some wack shit, but mostly cuz south Negro are easily amused.

yeah but the north say it aint rap unless you shot somebody and then sold some dope. also before you become a rapper you have to at least done some time.

Don't forget how many NY rappers now are doing duets with Wacka, Soulja Boy, Flo-rida just to get some additional attention they can't get back in their own region
