I don't think so unless there is empirical evidence to prove it because my the laws of nature men marry women who are younger than them hence the men should die first naturally

I will forever call bullshit as I refuse to believe some backass research trivia that states I will live longer simply by putting a ring on some chick's finger!!! Do you realize the absurdity of such a statement??? I wouldn't be surprised if that was originally thought up by the Pope in Rome. As far as I know it would be completely the other way around...
Actually, there is many scientific studies that show that. Of course people who are against marriage would say that. Just because you have an aversion to marriage doesn't make that fact less true. You dont have to get married ya know It doesnt have anything to do w the ring or the paper, I think you could lump people in unmarried relationships that live together under marriage-like circumstances. The take-home message is that single people actually are less happy and have a shorter life span.... in general... people that dont want to be in a committed relationship over their life span is far out numbered by people who do. and no, Im not gonna go and find them, Im waaay to lazy for that, neither do I feel an urge to convince you - its not like any proof will change your mind anyways

I think this why marriage is the norm in most cultures, even those that do not have religion, have marriage rites.
It sucks how a lot of people are into getting married in this day and age. I'm still hopeful I'll get married, but I'm also realistic about it as well. It sucks cause I come from a traditional family where marriage is highly valued.
