just had a letter asking me to attend a speach and language therapy session in school as its come to thier attention that madam doesnt understand alot of whats said to her and doesnt speak properly.

hey wouldnt put it past them. ALOT of the therapists get to my house, check my surname and start speaking very slow and loud, never fails to amuse me when i start talking to them and you see the look of suprise when they realise i am in fact english

You could tell her to get with a black man and then her speech can improve.

She's like 5 or 6 right? they should have noticed this when she was in Nursery, what have they been doing with her? shoving her in a corner and not talking to her all day!
They could have been helping her already.

It will help her though, Spencer has had it since he was 3 at the local Speech and Language unit in the Memorial hospital,
but once he turned 5 he now see's the school's speech Therapist every 2 months, which they pay for out of there budget to make sure the kids get the help they need for school.
I'm lucky he goes there TBH, his teacher is fantastic really good at his job.

I'd have a moan up, if you think they are slow on the uptake, it is her education we're talking about, don't let them write her off.

Sure. Just implying that if she want to acquire the necessary means of communication, all she need is to spend time with a black man long enough. Preferably, one of the Nelson Mandela or Denzel Washington persuasion. We're good teachers! So, this is a testament of our techniques.

Oh...I read with error because I assumed that the person of interest was an adult. But, you've assumed that she's a child yes?
