How come all these teachers be sleeping with their students? How come the teachers be so damn sloppy with it basically begging the authorities to catch them. Have you ever been tempted by a student?
Never my friend. That is so unprofessional for so many reasons. First of all, nobody should sleep with someone in ANY job that they have authority over. Secondly, I feel that just like doctors, I have an ethical obligation to do no harm. Thirdly, no matter how old a student is, age of consent wise, they are CHILDREN and to me sleeping with a student would be a criminal act. I have in the past taught adult ESL and I would also never date an adult student for the same reasons. What I have experience once is a parent of a student coming on to me and asking me out at a parent teacher conference. That is also a big no-no in my mind. After that incident, I had my department chair meet with he and I the next round of conferences as I did not want to be alone with the man. A hard and fast rule that I have is an open door policy. If a singular student needs to stay after school for help or to make up an assignment, the classroom door and the connecting doors to other rooms stay open. With all the scandels in the news, any ethical teacher that I know takes similiar measures to protect themselves and their reputation. BTW, It is disgusting to sleep with a student and jail time should be harsh for teachers, male and female equally. It seems that the females get off easier and that is wrong!!!!
Because the courts treat women (more specifically ww) like precious ignorant dolls who don't know better or are slaves to their emotions. Its really messed up.
Agreed Fan. I find it insulting. If women want full equality, we should take the same heat when we fuck up. Are women more emotional perhaps, but we all have to learn self control as it is part of being a grown up.
you mothafuckas also need to do the heavy lifting at work, just like the men do, if you want to be 'paid in full like a man' i'm starting to see why women used to make a fraction on the dollar "hey, come lift this for me" :smt021
if i had a nickel for every time a woman said 'but you're a MAAAAN' that shit gets old when you're on the same pay-grade as them, but they expect you to do more just because you have a swinging dick once you start telling them you won't do a man's work, because you don't get a 'man's' paycheck, they get funky and emasculate you, like you're the badguy
if they take a pay cut, ill be happy to do all the man stuff :smt095 ACLU will be at my doorstep the following day
No kidding. I saw something where I read women make 80 percent of men for doing the same job and I always wonder how does that happen when we have so many laws in favor of them. Its very hard to get fired as a woman in a corporate environment.
Because when you start a job, they offer you a salary. If you and I are equally qualified for the same job, they'll offer you more. It's not like you go out in the hall and compare notes. And sure, they get raises...but, when a woman doesn't know she's making less than her male counterpart gets a raise, she might think 'this is great! Look how well I'm doing!' but doesn't know that her raise might be only the raise to get to where the male was getting from the beginning - and the raise he gets is the real one. So, it doesn't matter if I get fired or not- you're still going to be making more than me.
just ask the chinese they have limited ability when it comes to creating families, and abort daughters so they can have sons http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/article782664.ece according to this, it was illegal to scan mothers to determine the sex of the child, so they can abort it to keep room for a male now..it's just a guessing game and you're stuck with whatever you get
Go suck an egg logical lindsey lol. Here's the thing I think some women fail to realize though a lot of them are too shy to ask for more and I think that's where men have an advantage not to mention people tend to push around those they know they can push around. Its a sad truth.
Yeah, it's a good thing they have those laws protecting women's equality in the workplace, right? Just to make sure things don't happen to prevent them from from being successful... ....oh, wait.
