Im a black woman who has dated black and white men since I was a teen and now just date white men. I have no negative feeling whatsoever seeing white women with black men. I have had black guys chase me since I was 13 so I dont think white women have taken anything away from me. However I was doing a search for IR forums and found this one and couldnt believe all the biased against black women and just the misconceptions. Yes black women have given white women a hard time about dating black men but I do think it has died down some in recent years because black women are use to it. Regardless there is another side to it and I think people should acknowledge both.
I read on here white women dont give black women a hard time for dating white men because white women are not threatened by black women. Well I gotta disagree there. Not only have I been hated on by white women when I date white guys but ww who date bm have ALWAYS felt threatened by me. Yes alot of bm like ww but alot of black men still like black women as well and more black men are gonna say Beyonce or Meagan Good is his ideal versus Olivia Munn or kate Beckinsale. You dont think a white girl is threatened by a GORGEOUS black woman? The type that black men love and one thats universally hot that all men like? Im not Meagan Good but I have modeled in the past and for a woman thats not a celebrity, Im very attractive. White women expect to be the center of attention even when they arent attractive and this is not reality. When I was in highschool I went out of my way to befriend the white girls that dated black guys but it got to the point one of them didnt even want me going out with them because all the black guys wanted me. Most white women who ive befriended that has had a black boyfriend, the black guy has tried to holla at me behind her back and make horrible remarks against white women. Im not jealous. I have a white boyfriend. Ive never felt white women were the enemy but its just not fair to act like black women are the only ones threatened.
Not all black women are like precious and those are the ones white women feel more comfortable with. The ones like me THEY CANT STAND. Women are threatened by women. As far as the white standard of beauty, I dont think its that way anymore. I dont think black women are the standard, im not in denial about that but I think its somewhere in between black and white. Most men of all races I ask their type of girl and they say EXOTIC. They like multiracial, they like mixed race latina and they like asian. If they do say white girls shes a brunette. I dont think Ive heard a guy say they liked blondes since the 90s. Honestly it is CHANGING. If anything black women are more threatened by biracial half black and latina women then your average white girl because thats what black men like. The black guys that white girls are dating dont tend to be black womens type anyway.
And how can you guys say bw/wm receive no flak? OMG I wish that were true. White girls are sly and sneaky about their disapproval but its there trust me. Its just white girls get away with it since they are often seen as "delicate" and innocent" but ask your average white man (which a big number prefer asian women anyway) and they dont think white women are all that feminine and delicate. Im not trying to be racist but I was SHOCKED by all the hate towards black women. It derives partially from jealousy. Ive received that jealousy from white women. Yes its there. Have my east indian and latina friends gotten more attention than me when we go out? YES. Have white women? NO. So I think its a load of bull that black women are just so threatened by white women. Even when I go to white establishments with my white friends, I get hit on by the white guys more because as a really hot black woman, I stand out and its something their not use to. White girls are not competition for the exceptionally hot black women but other minorites are.
When things are one way for so long they start going in another direction. Thats just the way life is. In the 80's it was all about Blondes and now its exotic and multiracial women. I just dont see any evidence that white girls are still the standard. Look how many white men love asian women and white men say the SAME EXACT THINGS about white women that black men do us. So why arent white women blamed for white men leaving? Black women are just blamed for everything. I dont think the black men who idealize the white standard of beauty on this site represent all or even most black men or even a good number of white men. And yes white women who date black men are VERY MUCH threatened. Why do they always stop and kiss in front of me? lmao I dont even care!!! Their men are never my type.
