Hmmmm. You notice that he's not quick to reply back with a response to my question of does he think there is anything positive about us Black folk.

 

That statement makes no sense? You said that minorities are involved in more crimes than whites. That statement is erroneous, period. 11% of the population can't engage in more crimes than the major race, period. Then, you change the premise and say, "average" white person. You must also, then, compare them to "average" black people and you would have no basis for drawing any logical or factual inference based on something as arbitrary as "averageness".

 

There is definitely a lot wrong with some of those issues. Poverty can be explained by racial prejudice that has led to unequal assess to education and jobs. Disease is no more prevalent within black communities as much as black communities may not have the same assess to quality healthy care, food and prophylactic care. Violence, in some cases, is an outgrowth of the lack of opportunity based on the prior factors. As for being "more prone" to STD"s, that doesn't make any sense either. You have to be more specific and suggest some context so that I understand what you are trying to say.

There is indeed something wrong with it. These problems result from generations of majority privilege and racial discrimination of minorities. You can't change the situation overnight and systemic issues have not taken hold that must be changed to drive access to basic needs and behavioral changes on the parts of those victimized by the injustices.
