found out monday night after work that the landlord is coming tomorrow (thursday) for an inspection of the pad. took the day off work to make the palace sparkle & even went to the effort & expense of getting a carpet cleaner in. 15 minutes ago my kids came home from school with 2 friends took their shoes off and walked through the house with dirty socks and black socks....on the still wet carpet...!!! my $145 just cleaned carpet has now got black marks and dirty footprints from the front door, to the lounge room to the kitchen....

Pah that's rubbish, I asked a boy out for the first time last week AND got rejected and you know what? Stuff it, now that I've done it once and didnt perish upon rejection, I think I'm going to do it again next time I fancy someone.

And no, I'm not massively confident - I never thought I'd do it but I did and rejection was OK. I survived!
