Sorry to hear that a college would stoop so low as to spread lies...... I have had a similar, although nowhere near as bad as your story happen to me at work... A college called me late at night and said that I had a later start the following day and to not come in untill 10.30 am as I will be needed later that evening also....... So I show up at 10.30 only to find out my boss had no idea and there was no requirement for me to stay later, and my coworker who called me denied everything. So it just looked like I came in to work two hours late....... F U to that girl who I work with who took it upon herself to try and cause drama for me at work... Your time will come my friend,,, this I believe.....
