Good idea. I got rid of all the pics of my ex and I, so I'll have to post some of my girlfriends. You can create your own thread, or you can post them in the "Post Your Own Pic, 7.0" thread. I think that's the title, anyway.

Hi all! New member here.

So the short answer to this question, for me, is that I like to be dominated. But when I say that, most people imagine whips and chains or something; that's not what I mean. I don't have interest in that stuff. I just like to feel like my man is in charge. And because he's in charge he just takes me, because he wants it and because he can. I kind of feel embarrassed to say that, but I can't help liking what I like.

It's a very primal satisfaction, and I just find Black men do that better for me. They're aggressive and confident without being mean. They take care of me and make me feel desired. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I think that is definitely part of it for me. I dont feel like I have the right vocabulary yet to explain the attraction, but this at least hits on some of it. It also seems that black men are much better at letting a woman know she's beautiful to him. So there's a level of..cherishing? maybe that I've never found with a white man.

Well aren't you just adorable.

Thats what Im talkin about! But, you know that runs both ways? I like it when a woman wakes you up in the mourning or late at night by kissing me or feeling all over me. I really like that sound you all make the first time you get your hair pulled and talked dirty to. I like it when like Pixie said, “Take it baby” so much fun!!! Welcome Pixie, Im new too...:smt112

I'm not so big on the hair pulling, but I'm right there with you on the rest of it. I don't like men who don't talk in bed.

To Pixie

You got that right. I just saw your pic in the other thread, very nice. I have to get one there too, but I don’t have any to put there. I will have to snap one with my phone and upload it. What are you doing right now besides posting?

Another thought

I'm a very independent woman. I've always made my own way in the world.

It seems as though black men are far less threatened by that, and instead see it as a positive thing. There's more pride in my success rather than running me down for it or calling me a bitch. They don't seem to take my intelligence as a challenge to their "masculine superiority", on the contrary they seem to enjoy it.

Not much. Major insomnia last night so I keep hoping a nap will hit me over the head. So far, no luck. And thank you.

I got home late last night and had to take the day off. I never could understand why some men would find a smart, successful, aggressive woman a threat. Ain’t that what you are supposed to be looking for? Throw in sexually charged and willing to keep up and you got a winner! I like women who can be submissively-aggressive. What I mean is when you need to be strong to deal with me, show no fear, I’m not hard to deal with, but I don’t like a push over. Life is best with some spice. But, when I pull your hair, tell you “you’re mine” and fill you up. Be all woman and let go. Ya’ know?

Again, except for the hair pulling, I'm right there with you.

I got ya... What else attracts you to Black Men? It sounds like you had a very positive experience. It can't all be sex and romance (even though that is all great) but, those are the easy parts. What keeps you coming back or staying with?

This is new for me, and I'm not sure I yet completely understand myself. It's an entirely different...something amorphous I can't yet name. I guess part if it is experiencing *myself* in a different way, and being more able to be true to who I am without having to worry I'll be judged badly for being complex.

I have that aggressive side that has been judged a lot in my life, but I also have that side which likes to let go, as you described. I've never been able to put the two together with a WM...those who liked one side always found the other part unacceptable, if that makes sense.

My dear it makes perfect sense... People often only like what they like and leave very little room for others, but when you are at peace with yourself there is room for the world. Most BM who have run the gauntlet in life understand that you must have both sides to make up the whole. After all its hard being with someone that is only half a person. Tell me about this fantasy of yours... details, please.

Just *one* of my fantasies??

That's probably part of it, too. I raised my son on my own, and I worked in a traditionally male job (systems engineer) and as a woman doing that, I had my own gauntlet to run. A lot of WM are dripping with privilege and truly do not understand what people who don't have that go through in life. While the road of a white woman and a black man through the world may be quite different, there's a recognition on both sides that neither has lived on easy street, and each has had challenges in a world which wasn't designed by or for people like them.

This is definitely it for me.

I think I could summarize it this way: I like a man who knows what he wants, is not afraid to say it, and I especially like it when what he wants is me.

I'm not saying there aren't any white men like that at all, but so far in my life black men do all of that better for me. They tend to be more confident and forthright. And yes, I personally do like hair pulling. A lot. You have to do it right, though.
