Whew. So far today 12 phone calls and 34 texts. We meet in 1/2 an hour at the Vietnamese place for coffee. Ugh. Too much effort. :smt042
I saw that! And it's actually true how people like to lump everyone together who doesn't fit their particular group. But when an individual of that same group does something bad, they're quick to dismiss the collectivist vs. individualist mentality. You saw that last night with the three people on the panel. But, Spitzer actually made the most sense in the whole thing.
Bwahahahaha, Trump is such an asshole. lmao, hilarious.
I enjoyed watching this week's episode. Great! Sadly, I missed the McLaughlin Group while I was out running and then my son and I got caught up swimming and catching Cowboys and Aliens at the cinema (quite good actually, LOL).
It was a great episode, sometimes Maher is just smug and self righteous but this was a good show. and even though I have a hard time admitting to it, Spitzer did make some sense.
Kind of like white people in this country. What's crazy to me is how much support the Tea Party gets. It's down right amazing. I don't know anywhere on earth where the uneducated have so much political power. And that Hoover chick was annoying me somthing aweful. Did you catch how she went to the woman bashing defense when Spitzer didn't agree with her?
LOL. She was more annoying than most - she kept interrupting incessantly and that women bashing this was out of line. Did you catch Maher calling the Bachman's the "inside Palin's". That made me laugh.
Another rich person who was born into wealth telling everyone else to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Just disgusting.
It's a little tough to pull yourself up by your bootstraps when you don't have boots. Very Marie Antoinette. "Let them eat cake!" Hmm...yanno...that shit *did* lead to a revolution over there.
Awww man! Well at least you get to watch the replays throughout the week. So the only thing you'd miss would be the first watched moment of that episode. You haven't forgotten your family anyway, and you're too much of a family man. Hahaha, I happen to like Spitzer. A bit of a hypocrite for obvious reasons, but he's always been someone that was very persistent in his ambitions. I personally would have love to see him run for president one day. And Maher's smug sometimes, but he makes a lot of sense for the most part. He goes overboard with religion at times, but despite that fire burning, he does make valid points despite being too general. Andrae, the only saving grace about the great-great-granddaughter of President Hoover is her being for gay rights...since she belongs to GOProud. And yeah, I've took notice of her going into a defensive mode when she's losing ground.
She couldn't stick to the facts just plain sad. I'm definitely not a fan. And all they kept saying was cut spending cut spending but they never go beyond "entitlement" programs. Which is another thing I can't stand about the right. Just way too short sighted and self centered. When are people gonna get we're all in this together.
