At the risk of doing the member in question a disservice by dragging it out, he certainly doesn't need 'charitable evaluations', and in fact in my case they come from a place of having known and spent time with him beyond the forum and therefore couldn't be more genuine and deserved.
Canada is in mourning today as Jack Layton lays in state on Parliament Hill. He was a dignified man who embodied all the things that Canada aspires to be. It is the first time in Canadian history that the head of the opposition has been lain in state and the lines at the hill are huge.

Nor is it in mine. It's sad to see how quickly some people become turn on each other. Like you guys said, there is no way in Hell, any of them would say those things if they were in the same room with the other person.
