The Negative Thread

I know, it's just the way I am. And I like History, and it's taught in school. One of my teachers told me that the past is "sacred" and shouldn't be forgotten. I think it also may tie into the belief that Americans have short memories and don't remember things from a few months or years ago.

But a lot of shit from this board isn't history that should be revisited nor is it sacred. This isn't "History Class", this is a message board.

Don't agree with your last statement.

Well, there were a few great threads from the past that I bumped up too. Only a few people noticed those particular threads, everyone gravitated to the negative ones.

Well, since this is the Negative Thread, that's what I'm referring to.
Well, most of the time, the threads are about the similar topics, such as wealth, weight, social prosperity, black women, race, etc.

The discussion in most of this thread was about income and money, and I think if we want to get into the root cause of why things are the way they are in America, we should figure out what exactly is the cause of income inequality by race and gender.

For instance, we know white men make more money in the workforce than everyone, including white women. We have to figure out why that is.

I found an article here that talks about it.

Undoubtedly, in several countries in the world, a large and socially disadvantaged black population is found cohabitating with a more affluent group of whites. Historical reasons, however, and the magnitude of these socioeconomic gaps by race may differ in each context. Two relevant examples of this phenomenon are Brazil and the United States (US), countries with very different levels of economic and human development, where significant and relatively deprived populations of African descent are mainly the result of European colonization that established a flourishing slave-based economy in the new world from the late 1500s until late 1800s, leaving a legacy of social discrimination that remains today. Both cases are characterized by extreme social inequalities which very often correlate with the racial divide, for which different positive discrimination initiatives in education or employment have been undertaken throughout the last decades in the US, and more recently in Brazil, even if they have increasingly been questioned in recent years. However, they also differ in a number of ways.

That's all fine and dandy, but that has nothing do with when you name dropped or when you bring members and drama into the forefront on some BS, c'mon now! Like Jordan said, we all have eyes and a search function.

I did that because I believe there's a wide variance in the level of intellect that the users (collectively) have here.

Mikey, I think you're missing my whole point entirely or you're playing dumb.

If anyone has issues with certain members, let them be the one to name drop. We don't need Inspector Gadget up in this piece.

Well, I had an issue with Appiah. Appiah started up the beef with me several months before, I think back in April he did it.

Clearly, I had an issue, so I name dropped. I think he did it because of tension between Africans and African Americans.

And you missed the deleted posts earlier. He wished that I didn't exist on this green Earth because of the post I made. In another thread, he was hoping that DB got hit by a bus.

So name him solely, cause YOU had beef with him. Let others name whoever they want, if they choose to do so.

Karma started a beef with me too. He said I was widdle and annoying because I said that lippy was right and he was wrong. Same with Andrae. He said that I was a Special Ed kid, even though that's complete BS.

Your list didn't come off like it was about you, but I digress.

I know. Ymra and I bumped heads as well.

But anyways, we should agree to disagree.

If I was mentally weak, I wouldn't have said anything about the problem on the site and expressed out my views.

I had it in me to make the response and stand up to the criticism resulting from it. Other people on here have gone through the exact same thing.
