My mom is an amazing woman and I don't she realizes it. She has an eye disease and she can't see certain things. Yesterday, I was driving and she was able to tell me when we passed by this major electronics store and her old job, but when we got to this one street, she named it, but then she got choked up cause she didn't know where we were. I told her, it's okay, you named the correct street. I know it was the fact that she lost some of her vision and it's such a tough position to be in. I wish I could give her back what she lost. It kills me to see her going through this and unfortunately, theres nothing you can do about it. I love you her so much.
Thank you, Chica! That's very sweet of you to say.... When I dropped her off, she said I love you so much. It just pains me that she's so frustrated.
IB I'm glad she has you. It's really, really hard to lose abilities, it changes your whole sense of who you are and can make you really feel "less than." I'm sure it makes a big difference for her to have your reassurance and support

Thank you, Tree. A few months ago in the supermarket, I had a bout where my vision was blurred for a few minutes. She told me that's how she feels. From then on, I really understood how she felt. It's so hard cause she was an avid reader at that. I have to be there for both her and my father. I'm not leaving, but you can add me on Skype too....
