They are much more assertive if they are interested in you. I have had a few of them approach me before. The girl I met this morning took the cake. Quick story: I was sitting at a table at the campus student center reading one of my textbooks, like I do every morning before one my classes. Twenty minutes later I felt this tap on my shoulder and as I turned around to see who it was, I noticed it was a cute and skinny brunnette girl. She wanted to know if she could sit down with me. We talked for about fifteen minutes and she told me her name and mentioned how much she liked my eyes. Then, went on to say how she first noticed me a few weeks ago(even though I never saw her). Long story short, she gave me her number and invited me to her dorm. I felt like I had just hit the lottery since that was the last thing I was expecting. For the brothers on this site, did any of you guys have a similar experience?
More assertive than any other type of woman IMO. I think part of the reason why is they feel like they have to go out of their way to make me comfortable since it's IR.
Good news man, I had a similar encounter on Monday in the library. She was blonde, walking by to use a library computer, and we instinctively exchanged glances. Then afterwards, she glanced at me again and she asked "How do I log on to the computer?" I told her how to do it, and she gave me a big smile and said "Thank you!"
Damn now that I think about it no one I was ever excited about approached me I always had to do the approaching. Damn I guess I'm not as good looking as I thought I was lol
And they usually feel entitled to it especially on a campus like Princeton. A lot of those kids have rarely heard no in their lives.
Same here for the most part. Which is why I was a little stunned at first. But her not being afraid to approach me indicates that she isn't with the BS mindgames.
It's been my experience that white women have been more aggressive compared to black women when approaching me.
Well if everything goes according to plan, I will have my J.D by the time I'm 24.I want to become a sports attorney.
Damn kid that's intense. You'll definitely get the life you want. I wish I had that focus at your age. Good shit.
Maybe it's because I'm tired but this by far the funniest thing I heard of today for all the wrong reasons. Anyway, I have a similar experience as your Prince with women of all colors. Man some days, women just staight up sexually assault me, I ain't complaining.
The implicit moral of the thread is something that has been a source of contention of the board. If you think about it in a global context, most women will rarely approach a man out of romantic or sexual interest. The reasons why may vary, such as fear of the social consequences or it just isn't done. Without a robust women's movement within a culture, antiquated notions of who should act out of sexual interest do not get challenged. In addition to the pursuit of equality in the workplace and political representation, the women's movement has allowed them the greater freedom to pursue who they want sexually. Is it mere coincidence that Frederick Douglass' second wife was a white feminist? Keep in mind that they married in the nineteenth century. I find that when a white woman decides not to pursue her sexual interest, it is usually because she is shy rather than feeling it to be socially improper. So if you are a critique of the women's movement or feminism, you also have to acknowledge the good(s) it has produced as well.
ah yes, I love when ww approach me. theres this white chick in one of my classes. I've spoken to her a few times, when she found out I like fashion and stuff she started dressing up and more and approaches me in class often. hmmmmmm
