White women and Asian women for some reason. They say its my personality and I seem approachable. A few weeks ago some high school girl asked me out. Of course I had to decline. But women usually just start conversations.It seems to happen more when I'm with a female friend or out with my sister,brother in law. When I'm out with my nephews/niece who are 3,5,6 the women come in droves talking about how cute they are.

I'm changing my answer. I was walking through an Asian part of San Francisco and Asian women were flirting with me.

When I was in an Indian club in New Jersey a bunch of Indian women were flirting with me.

When I'm in spanish/Mexican clubs the women will flirt with me.

When I'm in predominantly black areas in Atlanta, black women will flirt with me.

When I'm in a mixed area...I usually get stares from all races of women.

Final answer:

The dominant race of my current environment will be the race I attract the most.

 

I need to move back to the big city. It's just plain old black and white people, for the most part, in my small Southern city. I may need to go back to Atlanta soon!

 

When I first put my profile online a few years ago, I found that I was attracting more black men than white, and the white men were what I call "sloppy" white men. I guess because I'm a plus-size woman, they figured I would want a plus-sized man which isn't necessarily true, especially a "sloppy," overweight man.

I was raised in an environment that was almost entirely white and my parents did not approve of me dating outside my race. So with that mindset most of my life, I didn't even think about looking for or being found by anyone other than WM. So it was with some surprise that I found I was getting twice as many hits from BM. Since I am now quite old enough to make dating decisions for myself , I began responding to BM and I've never looked back.

I actually joined this site because someone posted a thread entitled "Why do white women like black men" (and which I can't find now), and I was curious to see what answers came in. I honestly can't figure out that answer for myself. I know it has nothing to do with a popular stereotype. But I can say that WM my age hold no attraction for me now (visually, anyway).

I dont think she said that - she said "WM my age hold no attraction for me now" She even stated she get hits on line from wm, albeit not the ones she would be attracted to.

 

I stand corrected. So I guess my new question is why she isn't getting hit on by white guys that she would be attracted to.
