I got this facebook friend request from a naked black man with a vodka bottle covering his manhood area. I asked him how I know him or where I know him from through private message and he replied that he just "stumbled across my profile". I didn't add him ofcourse, but got two seperate messages from him thereafter asking for me to please add him and be friends. I still didn't respond, so today he sends me a message saying "what the f_ck is wrong with you? You f_cking bitch." And a few choice other words. What is wrong with people, if I don't know someone why would I add them on something as private as FB, plus a naked man at that.... It just really upset me that he went out of his way to abuse me and he doesn't even know me. I wonder if it is a troll form this site...... hmmmmmm
If you are using the same screenname, it might just be. Some people have nothing better to do I guess than to harass & stalk others online to fill an empty and lonely life.

I agree, there was a guy who joined a while back that initially posted a profile pic that was real similar to what Curley described. I don't know why people have to be ugly like that. To seek someone out just to harass them is beyond me. Sorry you had to deal with that Curley.
That is why I spent about a week in that Facebook WWBM group that Suprchic started. She made it public (at first) and some random guy joined the group and it hit me: Facebook isn't a place with screen names, etc. I didn't like that random people (read: trolls) could see my name, where I live, etc, so I got out of it. Sorry that happened to you, Curley. You definitely did the right thing and whilst it's hard not to take it personally, just blow it off. You don't need to carry that kind of negativity around with you.
One thing I learned from my stalker situation last year. Keep your screen names as far from your original name as possible. Some people put the work in to find you. It's sad.
Exactly. And that's also the reason I don't have a picture as my Facebook profile picture. I don't need random people browsing and seeing my picture and trying to find out info about me.
i have been getting alot of random bm tryin to add me on facebook from finding me on here, its annoying, unless i know you on here and get on then you will be added, im still loling at that jenny troll bitch who cried on here that i didnt add her lol, i can see through her easily
Exactly. I have a FB account solely because one of my sister's is really bad about communicating and that's the only way to check up on her. However I turn down all friend requests, including my brother and mother. Aside from the fact that FB regularly changes their privacy settings, which often results in things becoming public that you might not want to be, social networking sites in general are really easy to hack. Once something is out there, it's usually there to stay. You'd be shocked what someone with some time and an internet connection can find out about you. I compile background reports for a client on his potential new clients, using purely legal methods, and one day my client got curious and asked me to see what I could find on him as a risk assessment... he was shocked at what I turned up. Sadly some of it isn't even remotely accurate, but it's still out there to be found.
I am with you on that Bookie. My FB is private and I have no pic on my profile. Never. Sometimes my back but never my face. And my back to show a funny shirt......not my ass!
