True, I don't like Taye's acting but he's working about as consistently as Omar, Mekhi, and other black actors in his generation.

I'd really like to see Derek Luke in more things.

There are only a few mega star hollywood actresses I doubt being with Taye has negatively effected her career

When does being with a black man hurt a entertainment career ?When women in entertainment date black men it seems to actually help their careers (J Lo /Diddy,Heidi /Seal,Madonna / Rodmen, Kim K /Ray J /Reggie Bush,Kendra/Hank Baskett,Minka Kelly/Jeter etc)

Maybe I'm interpreting wrong, but I don't think he was insinuating cause she's with Taye that her career didn't take off like he thinks it should. I think he meant that shes very talented and how it hasn't taken off like it should, because she's so talented.
