Grown-ass men acting like a bunch of horny frat boys at a keg party. I think I'd tell them just that, and suggest they visit the boy's room for a quick jerk before lunch if that is what it takes to make them act like adults. That was damned rude to ignore you that way. Why the hell invite you to lunch if that's what they had in mind? Frankly, it's the sort of situation which could feel intimidating, isolating and hostile to a young woman. I'd have told them straight out they were acting like assholes, but my relationship with my former co workers was such that I could have done so without reprisal.
Someone is going to have to explain to me how putting a specific jerk in his place, as described above, is "man-hating BS" I got neg repped for. I'm looking but what I see is jerk-hate, not man hate. Not all men are jerks. Not all jerks are men. I'm just not seeing this post as man-hating. Perhaps who ever sent the neg rep would care to explain??? ETA: I also don't quite see how that statement defines me as either bitter, or a loser. I'm not either, but I suppose some folks aren't ever going to understand my humor until we get that sarcasm font I've been asking for
