And as sure as a dick gets hard most of them would abandon most of that horseshit as soon as they get some male companionship and that's real talk. Brought to you by the good people from Rocafella Records lol
Wow - you all were talking about all of this petty stuff and thinking about poor little me and whether I'm getting dick or not, meanwhile I was getting a good night's sleep getting reading for work. I can't decide whether that's sad or funny. Ok, it's funny... :smt042
you never lie about that shit. if you dont kiss ass then they will jump all over you. trust me I know. like you stated there are black guys (not black men) will fudge search to make people happy
sigh...we once were all told that we were catty, and now it's feminist solidarity nonsense. are we now catty feminists...??? i was hoping someone would catch me up
Well, it has been a awful 'vagina power' around here lately. Which is fine or whatever, but maybe it would be less annoying if it came in moderated doses. As far as the solidarity thing goes, it seems that each time these threads or posts that comes up is immediately met with blind vaginal support with only a handful of women who bother to view it objectively. We all are who we are and we will believe what we believe. That's what makes us unique and gives us each a different flavor to bring to the board. I'm fine with that.... I embrace that. However, the whole 'men are evil' campaign has long worn out it's welcome and, unless we're both looking to bitch about how the white man screws us over, I honestly struggle to find how it relates to WW/BM relations. EDIT: And don't even think about trying to argue with me. I don't care if it is your birthday.
We are catty towards each other when that is a convenient accusation and when its convenient - we are doing the feminine solidarity thing. That they are mutually exclusive is no matter, typical rhetoric. Cant win. And that SA pretty much has no support by the women is something that is just conveniently ignored. I didn't see women backing her up in this thread. Sorry SA - its not about you, its a bout something completely different. Not surprised. Its funny actually.
Why do you think its been like that lately???? Btw, it sure didn't happen in this thread so I am not sure how tey got this thread to go to feminism solidarity.
Oh who cares - if you can't find the humor in my thread to begin with, there's something wrong with you. Nobody looks identical, and there are a hell of a lot of people who look alike in this world. Even people from different races look alike. There's a Middle Eastern man who owns a convenience store just down the block who is the SPITTING IMAGE of Chevy Chase doing an impersonation of a Middle Eastern man - it's scary if it weren't absolutely true - and he's married to a black lady!:smt045
Ain't that the truth. I've never gotten a neg rep when I say something about a male poster nor does anyone feel the need to report my posts when I'm "bashing" a male.
If you actually read how me and Petty got on the topic you would have seen that we weren't talking about this thread in particular but the tenor of the forum lately. It has nothing to do with convenience but I suspect your attitude towards the subject will change now that Big Daddy Jaisee agrees with the argument. SA gets passes on this forum that would never be afforded to the men. If I or any many (with the exception of 3) ever started a "All Women Are Alike" thread the heavens would rain down us like Soddem and Gamora. I know you won't agree or see any validity in what I'm saying since I'm the one saying it. So I'll wait for one of your besties to agree and then maybe you'll see what I'm talking about.
I guess you missed my post to Jaisee... I think you miss the fact that I actually like you - I think you should know that by now. and my dig wasn't really aimed that you, or petty directly - it was a general thing I have noticed on many occasions. If SA is getting a pass, that men don't get, I wager to say that its equally the men's fault at least because there are more men that regularly stick up for her than there are women. I think she is a poor example for your case. This thread has not been supported by anyone, men or women - so don't blame the women for her "getting away with it". Btw - your last sentence is really offensive and clearly a preemptive strike to negate anything I say- and has no basis in reality. Childish move. I have never ever agreed with someone just because I like them - never. That's just dumb bs from you. That would mean I would agree w you all the time then HA! If I don't agree, it has never anything to do with who posts it. My history of posting shows that. I agree w people I don't like and disagree w people I like all the time on here.. I have disagree with my wifey for crying out loud, I have agreed with GL - see I happen to believe in integrity and I am not some teenage child that feels pressured into agreeing w the pack or my "besties", man that's a dumb ass word. I
Hugs and kisses to you too DK. I always said you are like my little brother, maybe that is why I am so hard on you. I want you to be happy damn it!
I do agree that Hollywood has a concept of universal beauty that they push on mainstream society, but even within that framework there are still some major differences. For instance: Cameron Diaz looks nothing like Kim Kardashian Halle Berry looks nothing like Sanaa Lathan Selma Hayak looks nothing like Jennifer Lopez So even within the concept of standard beauty there are still major variations.
True but look at most swimsuit models or models in general. There is a general look that makes one wonder how Giselle or Marissa Miller are considered over other chicks who look very similar.
Idk that SA gets more of a hard/easy time, I just think she's more likely to say what she thinks/start controversial topics than a lot of people here? I don't always agree with what she says(and I'm sure she doesn't often agree with me either ), but she's very honest and open, imho. Yeah, you make a good point, but I do think you tend to get a lot of the same type of look even. I know it's just a beauty thing, but there tends to be a lot less variety than you see in real life, so I would be more inclined to say "Do you think all the white people you have met look alike?" vs "Do all white celebs look alike?" because celebs kind of do anyway, I can't think of any that I think are particularly unique looking.
