I have generally noticed that white women are more attracted to brotha's with much more darker skin. While black women are more attracted to mixed/lightskinned blacks. Hey you know its just preference but its a preference that I have noticed. Anyone else?
I don't find this is be true in the least. I've never seen a general trend, as people are attracted to others for different reasons, and skin complexion is not a constant for anyone that I've noticed. It certainly hasn't been my experience.
Therein lies the key. No one size that fits all. When people make claims like the original poster I think its just a sweeping generalization. It would be like me sitting here for example and saying black guys who like white women generally tend to prefer blondes more than brunettes.
Most white women black men couples I see consist of dark skin dudes... That goes for asian, latino, and lightskin black women as well. Lightskin men get the most love from dark skin black females. It it is what it is...
I have actually observed the opposite among Whites who don't typically show an interest in Black men and women. When they do, it's usually for light skinned Black celebrities like LL Cool, Vanessa Williams (the high yellow one), Beyonce etc. Maybe you're right when it comes to WW who prefer or at least often date Black men, I don't know.
Ad Hominids are not a valid form of argument. I was just pointing out an observation I noticed from my perspective.
It takes one search and he will find a lot of threads about this - even with this limited search engine.
If you look up on top, you have that blue band across the screen, click next to "search" and a pull down window shows up - you can directly search there or click on advanced search. uhm, yes - most new people to most forums tend to poke around for a bit before starting a new thread, Mr Snarky
I think he does have a point though. When I first came on this forum my inclination was to jump in and start conversing. I honestly wasn't even aware of a search function until months after I posted. Hell it was nearly a year of posting before I was aware of the rep system so unless you're a regular on other forums it might not occur to someone to search around. Just MHO
Conversing yes, that was not my point - first thread, on a topic like this? nah. This for a first thread just raises flags.
