LOL.. Pining to me is someone that long for someone but does not "stalk" them. Pining is sort of something you do on your own. And women are just as prone to stalking as men are, and when they do, its called stalking, not pining. You know that, but funny never the less
YYeyyy!!!! I would LOVE to have you here and books and dk too But I cant give you a date that would work per se. I dont know that far in advance w my work. April and June are horrible due to meetings and I know we have a meeting in March... anything else is fair game! August?? We would have so much fun!!!
Isn't stalking often done on your own. You know how many people facebook stalk? Or internet stalk in general? The only reason I bring it up is I have so many female friends who try to make that shit sound normal "it's what girls do when they like a guy it's no big deal" and I can't help but laugh because if I said that shit it would be "oh wow that's a little creepy why don't you just talk to her if you like her" Or even more recent a friend of mine talked about a guy she met and thought was hot but later found out that he was under age and what a shame it was. If I had said that I would be a creep. I think it probably has to do with the danger factor since men are seen as more dangerous than women. Kind of like all the shit you see on "What Would You DO" from ABC. White people can do the same exact thing as a black person but it's seen as more threatening when its a black person. Observing people and we go through life is way better than any television show lol.
Sometimes, it seems to me that you try to argue a point just to justify your view. Nothing you said had anything to do with my point.
Actually, it seems like he is agreeing with you, but kind of elaborating his experience with you. Just an outside perspective.
No, stalking is not done on your own. Definition of stalking: stalking 1. the act or an instance of stalking, or harassing another in an aggressive, often threatening and illegal manner. You could be looking up someone's info online, but until you USE that info to gain access to them, say, finding out where they work online and then going to their job to talk to them or cause problems, then I wouldn't consider what you described above as "stalking". But then again, words seem to be quite interchangeable nowadays. Their true meanings hold no real power anymore.
i think august sounds like a date. i'll text whiks later this morning and tell her...!!!! OMG....!!!!! IIIIII'M SOOOOOO EXCITED....!!!!
You can stalk people on e-mail and on facebook as DK said - but that is not pining, that is stalking.
This American Life National Public Radio have some pretty damn good shows on there. Now, I doubt most or anyone on here would listen to NPR radio. But there's a program called This American Life. It follows the everyday lives of so many people and the topics are purely social and socioeconomic. You can get a little more of an appreciation of the discussions at hand. On the site, you can listen and even download the segments. They are an hour long and pretty nice. Two examples: 1. Poultry Slam - A fun aspect of the show regarding the relationship of Americans and Thanksgiving. 2. Nobody's Family is Going to Change - An account on how families can never change as they grow.
O.O All I gotta say is...NYAN NYAN NYAN! Yeah....the video is that epic. (In my opinoin xD)
I've been listening to This American Life for years. Why would you think most here wouldn't listen to NPR?
Honestly? I'm only assuming. And that's because not a lot of people here really have the interest in listening to Car Talk or "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!" in the car or online. That's just my hunch. I could be wrong, but as it stands, only two people confirmed that they listen to NPR. Sweet! I need to listen more at home. Lots of good shows on there. Sort of silly that there was a controversy about NPR earlier this year sadly.
