F=(C x 1.8) +32 why is 8 coming up as a emoticon? smh first multiply by 1.8 and then add 32 to the result.
Thanks kid. It doesn't really matter seeing that it's rain or at least a possibilty for like 7 straight days. Damn.
Well, weather is wacky and unpredictable down here in the southern sticks snow, then 70 degree (F) temperature
A nice perfect sunny morning over here--and quite warm too...spring time is here at last. the view of the cherry blossoms and the sunrise were GORGEROUS to look at. ^.^
I'm doing some serious thinking about taking my daughter out of school and homeschooling her. She seems to be having problems with girls who claim to be her friends. She's coming home upset a lot. She has said on 2 occasions in the past month that she didn't want to go to school the next day. That's not like her, she loves school. Also, because of stuff that happened yesterday, she wants my parents to pick her up when school is over because she doesn't want to stick around the after school program and deal with a girl who is being mean to her (who is/was her friend). My daughter is sensitive and I don't think the school is doing enough to stop this type of stuff. I'm constantly telling her to tell an adult when someone does something to her. Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't. This year has been particularly bad. I feel maybe homeschooling her until Junior High might not be so bad.
Homeschooling could be a good solution. I doubt the school will help you on this issue. You're on your own. Have you called the other girls mom to see if she knows what is up between them? Maybe would be a good way to make her aware and ask her to be part of the solution?
Anyone else watch Cougar Town? They were going hard on the IR thing. I am really liking the show right now.
^this is a good idea...no parent wants to find out later that their child was allowed to bully at school and no one told them...i would not pull a child out of elementary hoping that middle school will be better for them...it will be worse...and i wouldn't expect that high school will be any different...helping her find, build and foster true friendships by meeting the parents and getting involved is the key
