Yeah, I don't get what was up with the whole letting them go for 10 minutes each rather than a couple of minutes each for three rounds. Must be something unique to this particular battle league or something.
Originally, it was all about flow.... If you needed time to make it up, you lost the floor while you thought out the next spit....
That's exactly why most rap battles should be short time rounds (2 or less minutes to spit for each rapper). Three Rounds only unless a it's a tie then sudden death battle. If you mess up your flow or lines while spitting that's lost of points/no points earned towards being able to win the battle and in sudden death that's instant death right there for whoever screws up IMO.
