this is why i dont understand how some ww could tolerate such blanket hatred or distrust from bm

ive met some bad white people..and ive met some really good ones...good enough to consider them my brother

ive lived with plenty at penn state, and i grew up with one who was my best friend

u take the good with the bad, but id never seriously spew hatred towards white men

it's like some dont realize the women here have white males and kids in their lives, lol...

Very true though you have to take people as they come, since we will never meet all of the folks in this world, to make blanket assertions is very short sighted and narrow minded.

No better than a racist or a man/woman hater, homophobe, etc.

Gotta deal with folks as they come based on their individual merits at the end of the day.

ive seen quite a few posters here with anti WM agendas, and it shocked me

the women we so highly seek are the product of WM/WW...plus some of them have white sons of their own

Exactly. My whole take is as long as someone is cool and respectful, then I'll reciprocate that.
 
Just like if a black guy is with you and is going on and on about the ills of black women and seemingly you are like a secondary participant, I imagine some dudes, certainly I would get tired of hearing about those awful white dudes she interacted with.

My chick has expressed how much she hates that. She doesn't like the kind of men who seem to have tried to use her to climb socially and who openly down the entire black race especially the women. It says a lot about you as individual but I that applies on any level. I don't mind a woman who prefers black men but going on and on about how weak and lame white men are isn't a way to keep my attention. I rather be bonded in our shared love not our shared hatred.
 
Great posts on this thread! My take on this is simple. We black men KNOW how to effectively interact with white women. Not bragging, but I tend to notice where white women are more comfortable and open when talking to us. We are very understanding and offer sound reasoning to our interracial counterparts. We bring common sense and sound logic to the table when in teracting with white women; whereas white males become a bit stubborn and want things to go their way. It's almost as if they a bit childish somehow. With black men, white women can be assured they will be able to see eye to eye with her companion and feel much better about her relationship in the long run.

you know, i never taken that vaunted sociological approach, that bm date ww to move up socially

i can honestly say that

if anything id think that it would take me down socially, given the fact that IR dating is somewhat still taboo in this country

id have a lot more to lose than gain :o

Ive told her the same thing. If anything I think having an educated bf who comes from a decent family and has a good network of friends elevates her. But i do see where shes coming from. A lot of dudes do think that way like dating ww gives them some kind of white pass
