I'll visit you Tammy. I might bring you a cake with a file in it. But foreal we're all praying for something good to happen for you. Stay strong.:smt023
Tam hopefully a different job comes along. It just has to. Prison wouldn't be worth it for that fool.
I appreciate that, BD....make sure the cake is chocolate. Thanks for the prayers & encouragement. I hope something does soon. Pickings are slim, but I've been putting in some apps/resumes where I can. Sadly I think prison would actually be like a vacation in comparison to working for him. He's decided to be more involved with the business so he can "help out", but he's only making it more stressful & he's hurting his business. He's one of the stupidest people I've ever known...he has no business owning a business. It's sad.
LOL! He's out of danger for the moment...he's "working" at the other store this afternoon, so hopefully I won't have to deal with him anymore today.
I must admit, every now and then, I listen to Rush - For pure entertainment. He used to piss me off, but these days I cant take him serious. He just cracks me up. In small doses. After a few minutes he grates on my nerves but a little is always funny. Today he said that he doesnt have stupid listeners - if stupid listeners should show up - either one of two things will happen. Either they continue to be stupid and leave the show and go back to E channel - OR they stay and become smart. That was right after he called Obama arrogant.:smt081 Then he continued on is rant about Obama having some personal disorder, and ended that with saying that liberalism is a personal disorder, "it must be". Crack me the hell up.
i am so hung over and in need of a slurpee, but cannot be bothered showering, let alone standing up and actually walking down the street. is 711 even open on good friday? oh and this friday aint that good
I was listening to the radio & they said 33 is the age where you'll be the more happiest. Well I'll be 33 in a couple of weeks, so we'll see.
When I was 33, I was in the deepest, darkest, most miserable place I've ever been. This doesn't bode well for me. :smt043 I think that making one small year of your life and telling you it'll be your happiest is ridiculous. I'm sure you aren't taking that seriously and I hope others don't either. Life is what you make of it. :smt023
I have a question for you. How do you manage to stay disciplined & committed to reading? I still have books from last year that I haven't read yet. And I just bought a new book yesterday.
I don't think it's discipline for me. I enjoy it, so I just make time. A lot of times I read in bed before going to sleep. Sometimes I bring a book to work and read it on my lunch break (and if I'm really into it, then at red lights on the way home, LOL). Other times I go to a place like Panera Bread and spend a couple of hours there reading while I eat. It's something I enjoy immensely, so I make time for it. If I have free time and I'm not seeing a movie, I'm reading. LOL.
And Bookie wins the award for the best said today....!!! How you doing girl...been awhile, nice to see you! Hope you and your little sweetie have a great Easter...!
This morning I went to deliver a set of construction plans to a client....On my way back to my office, I looked up at a stop sign only to see that......little by little......... the world is becoming mine..........
