you may want to look up floridas 2nd degree because I was listening to CNN and the florida atty was saying something different. that is why I stated what I stated and the Al sharpton show had ogletree saying the samething what I heard on CNN...I could be wrong tho

The emphasis by the National media and opportunists to assign race to the Trayvon case when it's always been a question of Justice - has become a divisive debacle. Race discord sells papers. It leaves us as public enemy number one on a much larger scale. Fear will win out and the bodies will pile up.
 
I keep saying SYG has nutin to do with Z... case, at best he can use self defense law, which has been here for 100 yrs (if memory serve well, enacted 1895??? not really sure). Anyhoo, if his claim is that Martin was on the top of him & beating the crap out of him then self defense might come in play, but SYG has ZERO to do with this case. Gun totting NRA and you tree hugging rainbow wishing gun fearing libs should just stay out of it, both of u don't make any sense. SYG law is not gonna be repealed & we ain't giving up on our 2nd amendment, period. NRA should also stop defending that self appointed John Wayne complex suffering Zimmerman.

It also alienates and divides what to them has always been a cultural unity.

I read a post a blogger left who said something like..."Imagine what this country could have been if we removed "RACE" from it."

And another who wrote....
"The whole idea of compassion is based on a keen awareness of the interdependence of all living beings, who are all part of one another, and all involved in one another."

Um....I'm preparing to get totally razed for this but wasn't that what slavery was about? Large numbers of people died because of it.

And yet here we are almost "13 and people are still saying trayvon was a thug who deserved to die. Because he was a thug. And black

I've met vatos that were probably more "thug" than Trayvon would have ever been even if he had been truly a thug.

I don't hear anyone saying "oh that fucking beaner deserved to die because he smoked pot and had stolen jewelery in his bag."
