That is the beauty of Manhattan - the only thing you need to really know is how the streets are numbered.. avenue vs street - You need no sun there lower Manhattan may be a little more difficult for direction challenged peeps but then you can always find a subway exit.... then you can always figure out if you need to go left or right or up or down. A map, a subway pass and good shoes and you good to go My mother is severely direction impaired and she thought it was very easy. She got over her angst getting lost in a few hours.
I installed it as soon as I heard that I would have to update my IE browser to IE 9 for Win. 7 and Vista. Forget that! Updating things can sometimes be a bitch. ~_~ On a lighter note, I'm trying out these cleansing soaps that came from Israel...they're making my skin feel nice and soft. ^__^
Dude they shut down hospitals all the time and when the GOP gets their way they'll be shutting shit down on the regular. They want to cut medicare/medicaid and education but not touch a single penny of the defense budget. Smdh
Andrae, Please don't tell me the boogieman got you.....not another casualty in this unforgiving recession
Not yet. A bunch of coworkers got the notification. They're out at the end of the month. Shit sucks. This place has incredibly low morale. It's not a pretty site.
I had to google this reference. I have not seen that movie in years and now I want to! LOL. We can all 3 of us live there!! :smt023
Thats ok, you three go live up on your grassy knoll... Whos comin to room mate with me in the Neuschwanstein castle? :smt025
That's why u work at a level 1 trauma with the highest bed count in the city They did close some hospitals..true...but if anything where I work has seen an increase in volume Especially in the summer when your people start shooting up the area People are getting burned out but all u gotta do is remind them that volume equals a check
Same shit happened to my dad. Everyone already knew the dealership was closing down but not when. Showed up to work one day and the place was boarded up. No warning, no call, no severance check. Like 20 years and didn't get shit.
Nah, the defense budget is feeling it too. Contractors are getting laid off and soldiers are doing what the contractors and civilians were doing. Trying to downsize on soldiers. People are getting kicked out for lesser shit, forcing people into retirement or ETS. They wanna but our tuition assistance by 25%. This is in the army at least.
