This is exactly why I couldn't run for office. If my opponent said that during a debate my response would be something along the lines of "What the fuck is wrong with you?" Which I understand would probably hurt me among the family values types. How does someone even respond to something that stupid?

Seriously, what is it that Republicans don't understand about rape? It is bad. And nothing that happens as a result of rape is a "gift from God."

Well I guess then Republican Dodd, who insists a woman's body reproduction shuts down during rape is incorrect if we go by this guy.

@ topic, he's got it wrong, but there ARE those that feel that because a child was conceived from rape, it shouldn't have to pay for it with it's life. Much like those conceived because of an "oops".

What pained my heart and made me realize it's not as simple, was hearing a man call a radio station to tearfully say that he was a child of rape..and that he looks as his beautiful family, his kids every day and thanks his mother profusely for refusing to abort him.

 

I cant understand why people keep talking about this shit. If a woman has an abortion it is her decision, why the fuck should anyone lose sleep over someone elses life?? Women can have abortions, so what??!! Cry me a fucking river!!!

 

And that's great that he appreciates her CHOICE but those same kind of people want to make the choice for others who have gone threw it. That's what I can't stand about prolifers they want to make everyone's choices and remove themselves from the consequences.
