Colter is currently a lead on Halo: Nightfall, the new live-action digital series by director Ridley Scott, 343 Studios and Microsoft. The series premiered last month.

She currently works for Netflix she started there in April 2014 as manager of talent Acquisition, and now she is director of talent Acquisition.

Nope. That was an inside choice by Marvel. Netflix typically stays out of the casting.

This. It's a Marvel Studios project, so you know Marvel Studios made the decision. Anyways on TV shows, it's usually the studio and/or Producers (along with the Casting Director) that make decisions on casting, not the Network.
