When did you first realize or accept you were attracted to WW/BM?

Probably around middle school if I had to guess, I've been with all types of women but white women generally just got along with me more and vice versa.
 
In my mid to late 20's I started seriously being curious about white women. When I moved out of my parent's house and into a predominantly white area, my exposure to them pushed me over the edge.
 
i've always felt attracted to black men, as far back as I can remember, even when i was a little girl and had no idea what sex was about. when it came time to start dating, i had no doubt about what i wanted.

i've got nothing against white guys. but they just don't interest me that way. being for black is just how this girl is wired, i guess . . .

I think it was in the 2nd grade for me that I discovered my attraction to white girls. As I got older, I saw the beauty in women of other cultures. My family did not understand. They thought I would grow out of it. But I didn't.
 
Probably for me...12 ..I used to have a heavy crush on Barbara Eden of I dream of Jeannie...but it wasnt until I got to college that I actually dated IR.
 
I always have been attracted to bm. I don't remember an exact age, but I was pretty young. I had to suppress my feelings because of my racist family, but now I've realized that I need to make myself happy and not worry about their judgmental attitudes.
 
Some of you are said since birth, i imagine parents do not think their little innocent girls would be into blacks at such a young age. They probably don't even think of it lol.

Let's see I was an Army brat so I was taught not to see color in dating, the first time I feel for a white girl I was about 5 she was my first girl friend my cousins tease me because I date white women. But that is their problem I date who I want.
 
Well i’m from Australia but have been living in China/backpacking china & southeast asia for the past few years, so I haven’t really met many bm. however, I met the most amazing African American man who was training with me in china. We only knew each other briefly (he was in his final weeks as I arrived), but my experience with him definitely sparked my attraction/preference for bm, which was solidified by my experiences with Asian men over subsequent years. They just weren’t interested in me, for the most part. I am a very curvaceous redhead (BIG butt, small waist, big breasts and long red hair down to my waist) and I think my features were a bit off-putting, considering they were totally different to the general ideal of beauty in asia.

LOL that shit is funny, many parents these days don't seem to care to be honest, i think some only cling onto stupid beliefs that cloud their judgement
 
I was never feeling attracted to bm in general. All of my men of the past did have a darker skin than I have. It was accidentially that I was falling in love with a bm, because I got to know him and he was charismatic and a turn on for me. But I cannot say that I am looking exclusively for a bm as my my man. I want a man that fits to me, no matter, how he looks like

I like your perspective on this.. Too many people stuck on the skin color. You are open to any man that is the right man and thats real.
 
White females have always taken a liking to me the most.. I am attracted to a woman regardless to her skin color, and have experience with a wide variety of backgrounds. I can remember back to 1st grade, in class we'd sit on the carpet in rows when the teacher would be showing us a movie or something. A girl named Francesca used to sit behind me every time, and she would play with my hair, all on the back of my neck. She'd twist my nappy hair, and give me little baby scratches on the back of my neck. It would send chills down my spine. Other times she would grab me in the staircase, sometimes play hit me and smile. I think those type of memories left me with a warming impression that made things easier once I was older and actually hooked up with girls.

I find it sometimes funny, how many expectations people have to each other. Once I've heard in the radio, that a woman broke up her relationship, because her boy-friend forgot her birthday. :shock:
I always try to be focused on what I am looking for, what I need- that is my main goal. I have priorities that must fit and I have red flags I dislike. Everything in between I don't care

That was probably the straw that broke the camel's back. I don't blame her for dumping a man for forgetting her birthday. Woman take notice of small things like that anyways.
 
I'd bet most girls would break up with their boyfriends for forgetting their birthdays, however only if there were already other problems or neglect do I feel its warranted. I don't think it should be a deal breaker unless you know he doesn't spend quality time with you too often, and as someone said it was the last straw.
 
When I first read the book Sex & Racism in America by the late Calvin C.Hernton in the late 1970's along with the books by J.A.Rogers I was attracted to WW ever since. I read almost every book on the subject and read some fiction books too. That is how I got some of this knoledge on IR. Back in the 90's there was a magazine called Interrace a good publication that I wished that is still in publication.
