*stares off into space, imagining the sight of that....*

Erm, my bad. I should've taken a picture of the whole pot. :p

This area is known for their stick-to-the-ribs cooking. Amish men expend alot of energy plowing fields and raising barns - their women have developed some of the best foods in the country to keep their men satiated.

I told a co-worker once (after witnessing Amish women walking to a wedding with their cake carriers and baskets of food) that I wanted to be an Amish woman. They stay home and cook, bake, sew, tend their gardens, care for their home and family - all the domestic arts I love. She burst my balloon when she asked me if I wanted to be married to an Amish man, then? :-|

I wouldn't mind if my lady stayed home and did those things, and let me bring in the $$$. I'd even work 2 full-time jobs. I love being a hunter, gatherer, provider and protector.

I loved it when I was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. Some of the best years of my life. :)

i had a threesome in the dream that i woke up from this morning. i almost thought it was real. it was so detailed.

also, i really dislike when people think they are entitled to things. especially when they already have alot of privilege

Where are the other men like you???

I like working.

until the offer not to work presents itself lol.
Trust me I'm not judging, my ultimate dream in life is make enough money so my girl can choose to work if she wants to but never has to.
Every man wants to take care of the woman he loves granted she respects the sacrafices he has to make in order for it to happen.

It has been absolutely pouring for hours here in San Diego. It's windy, it's freezing, it's 3 am...and I'm wide awake. This is going to be a loooong day.

Further supporting my theory that no woman wants to work lol.
In the immortal words of Patrice Oneal "Women want a winner they dont want to win"

Clears throat....

"Some, not all"

Until theres a real offer on the table lol

Exactly Tarshi!

TDK, I'm so disappointed in these posts. I'd thought you were past the broad generalizations of women wanting to be stuck in the 50's, not voting nor wearing pants, nor having any kind of social responsibility. You know better, step out of the cave and come to the light son.

Please don't put your dream of having a stay at home wife as being the reality of women everywhere. You know there's plenty of us that would go insane if we had to stay home to cook and clean all day for a man.

Actually, nevermind. I don't know why I engage in this type of conversation. Believe what you will, and I'll happily go on proving that the stereotype is wrong.

Slow down Amazon I'm saying women in general(not all) would prefer to have the choice to work but not HAVE to work. See the difference boo? Not knocking your drive and ambition but as of late I've been around and see so many women professionals and menial workers alike who would give it all up to live on a beach drinking mai thais lol
And to be clear I never said I want a stay at home wife just the ability to give my lady a great life where she doesn't have to worry about money
