I once saw an action film from the UK called Shopping with Jude Law, Sadie Frost(his wife at the time),Jonathan Pryce(the voice of the Infiniti car commercials) and Sean Pertwee. It had a lot of car chases and crashes. It was, by definition, an action film. I enjoyed The Transporter films. I thought the first was good because of Jason Statham's character. He had rules(he would end up breaking them) and knew what he was doing. He was always prepared. It was fantasy, that's all. I loved the Audi A8. The BMW 7 series sedan was cool, too. But, it cannot raise a candle to the Audi.
I saw this once during a post-party insomniac spell. It's the one where they are breaking into stores and looting, right?
Jude and his crew would ram BMWs into stores at shopping malls and then try to steal as much as they can and be out before the police arrive. It is that one.
I was kind of curious about "Cosmopolis" when it came out. I almost saw it in the theater, but never found the time to go. I finally got it on Netflix and watched it the other night. It's a terrible, terrible movie. Robert Pattinson's performance can only be described as wooden, as are most of the other performances. The dialogue was terrible. The script was terrible. Even Paul Giammati at the end couldn't save it. The ending lasted like 15 minutes and it was so boring I zipped through it. I'm sooooo soooo happy I didn't waste any money on this movie.
I'm done wasting my time on smaller movies like that. There aren't enough great small movies to warrant wasting time on the garbage ones.
The effing bloody hobbit was a waste of 3 bloody hours. And why aren't there any black people in the movie???? At least a black dwarf. We know there are black dwarfs!!!! Could have had fanny take a starring role!!! Such a disappointment
I don't know why they made it so long. There was so much they could have edited out, pointless scenes here and there...... I just watched The Cabin in the Woods. Wasted my time... I love a good scare but this didn't do it for me.
Ohhhhhhhhh so that was the point of it........ lol It was in the horror section........ so I assumed it would be scary.
