Gwyneth Paltrow has been named People‘s World’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2013!

The 40-year-old actress topped the list of beautiful ladies in the entertainment industry, which also includes Jennifer Lawrence, Kerry Washington, Amanda Seyfried, Zooey Deschanel, Halle Berry and Kelly Rowland.

“Around the house, I’m in jeans and a T-shirt. I don’t really wear makeup. That’s what they?re used to,” Gwyneth told the mag. As for her husband, Chris Martin, “He’ll make a joke about it. If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow!’ Because he’s used to seeing me in like baggy shorts and frizzy hair.”

People Magazine knew this would get a 'WTF' response, they are hoping that controversy sells magazines.

It's arrogant for People Mag to act as if they have the ability to pick the world's 'most beautiful woman', if there is such a thing.

I have NEVER heard a man swoon over how hot Paltrow is. So off the mark.

 

I think she's incredibly hot, but not in an alpha female way. She's no bombshell. But she does exude a kind of easy gracefulness and elegance.

 

I don't get it, personally.

I mean, she's attractive- absolutely! But to call her the world's most beautiful woman?? Eh..I dunno.

Congratulations to Gwyneth Paltrow on winning this honor. I like her, honestly. She has a simple beauty. She looks okay without makeup. She stood on her own feet after Brad Pitt. She won an Oscar. She did pretty good. Bravo! She is the daughter of actress Blythe Danner(she was the wife and mother in the film The Great Santini with Robert Duval).
