Thanks, BD. I think it's called "Cherish the Earth", but I don't remember.

"Cherish the Earth" I like that. I wish more people would.

Great post, BD. It's interesting to see the process...watching it you'd never expect the end result to be what it is. Impressive. :smt023

Yup.:smt023

Pretty, Ra-Ra. Is it a rendition of the goddess Nut? That's what/who came to mind when I saw it.

There's an artist (MyWorld1) on DeviantArt who's done a few pics of her. I like these two the best:

[Tamstrong]

"Fallen Angel"

"Sultry Day" Paul Landacre

"Memory Loss" Oana Mihaela Cambrea

"Nut Looking Down At Geb"

"Queen of the Sky"

I'm not sure who the artist (Toni Taylor, who can also be found on DeviantArt) meant this to be as she named the piece Angeli Di Luce. She has multiple mythical/religious theme paintings from various cultures: African/Egyptian, Hindu and Native American as well as just straight fantasy works. Some are even combination myth/fantasy.

I don't know, but that would be my guess obviously.

I really like Lego art too. I play with Legos when I was younger, so I can appreciate the feats of these crazy involved builds.
