I'm sitting in H-town in my 4 bedroom house. I can't see why I would honestly want to move to Cali florida or NY with these prices. As much as I love florida, I'm not getting a 4 bedroom house for 48 grand.

It is hot heck over here. I think it was around 40's and 50's during the winter. I just got use to it after a while.
Well now its not a big deal since I have a girl who I plan on settling down with but when I was younger I doubt I would have as much fun down there. The south is too color obsessed for my taste.
h-town has a harbour, you are about 45 minutes from Galveston beach. Winter can be mid 30s or 80s, both in the same day even. Lol. 30s not really common tho.

Not really? Its southern culture fam. A dark dude like me would get no play out there. I'm also an intellectual and the south doesn't seem to be a place that appreciates that. Just my observation I'm not saying its absolutely true.
Texas isn't technically in 'the south' tho. Houston is very IR friendly. 49% white, 25% black, 37% hispanic
