Interesting. Seems like there was critical evidence of video recordings on an Ipad. That could have been used to charge Zimmerman. Zimmerman destroyed it before police could access the recordings.
He's trying his hardest to get out of this with no consequence.

I really think he is doing this out of his own guilt - it's like he wants to fuck up so he CAN be punished.
Perhaps Trayvon's soul is HAUNTING him.

O'Mara will continue to be Zimmerman's lawyer in a defamation suit pending against NBC and in the remaining motions from the Trayvon Martin trial.
ABC News reported that O'Mara appeared to struggle with his anger at his client during Monday's incident when he arrived at the home.
During a press conference, O'Mara was asked if he had any advice for Zimmerman, and he responded: 'Pay me.'

She stood by him through a high profile murder trial that brought death threats, hiding and fear. She even perjured herself for him. But George Zimmerman repaid his wife by abandoning and betraying her.

Just days after his sensational acquittal in July, Zimmerman, 29, ‘went AWOL’, those closest to him have told MailOnline.
While wife Shellie, 26, lived in continued fear of death threats, the husband whom she had supported ‘took off in his truck’ leaving her alone and unprotected and embarked on an affair with his former fiancée.

With an audacity borne out of what friends and Shellie describe as a sense of ‘post-acquittal invincibility’, Zimmerman even brought the woman to the Florida home owned by Shellie’s father – one of the locations in which he and Shellie had hidden out during the trial - and the scene of yesterday’s dramatic events.
According to close friend and confidante John Donnelly, who has known Zimmerman for close to a decade and regarded him as a son: ‘Shellie had her suspicions that George was having an affair with his ex-fiancée and that it flared up after the trial.
‘She went as far as to issue the ultimatum, “Don’t you ever bring that woman into my house.”’
Two to three weeks ago that is precisely what Zimmerman did.
Returning to the quiet Lake Mary neighbourhood to collect some belongings Shellie, who has not lived in the house for some months, bumped into Zimmerman pulling into the driveway with his ex-fiancée.
It was this final act of betrayal that prompted her to file for divorce.
And it was a similar coincidence that sparked yesterday’s altercation as Shellie confronted Zimmerman with allegations of his affair when both arrived at the property to remove and split their possessions.
His only publicly known ex-fiancee is Veronica Zuazo, 31. She split from her husband three years ago.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Mr Donnelly said simply: ‘Shellie is wonderful. She doesn’t deserve this.
‘After the shell shock of everything that she’s been through and all of that he just took off and left her.
‘He’s off gallivanting round the country and left his wife sitting there afraid to go out of her damn house. She is just so hurt and devastated.’
It was these feelings that prompted Shellie to go on television and called him a 'selfish husband'. She told Good Morning America: 'I think George is all about George.'
'I stood by my husband through everything and I feel like he left me with a bunch of pieces of broken glass that I'm supposed to now assemble and make a life,' she said.
Retired physician’s assistant and Vietnam veteran Mr Donnelly and his wife Leanne Benjamin, who owns a real estate company in Lake Mary, stepped up for Zimmerman in his hour of need.
They each provided powerful testimony at his trial asserting that it was Zimmerman, not teenager Trayvon Martin, who could be heard screaming for help in one particular 911 call on the night of February 26 last year.

Mr Donnelly took Zimmerman to buy the suits, shirts and ties he wore at court. He taught him to tie a Windsor knot. Zimmerman in turn wrote a Father’s Day card to Mr Donnelly in which he described him as ‘the father I never had.’
And a Mother’s Day card he sent to Leanne expresses his deep love and gratitude for everything she had done for him.
Yet in the weeks since Zimmerman’s acquittal his treatment of his wife and of the friends who supported him has left this couple, once such staunch supporters, feeling ‘hurt, angry and used.’
The couple – who suffered death threats for their testimony - have not had any contact with Zimmerman since the day he was acquitted.
Leanne revealed: ‘It’s very sad for us. To not even get a phone call or a text after the fact saying thank you for helping me or I appreciate your support…it really stings.
‘Everybody has to do what they want to do and we thought perhaps George needed some time to himself to decompress but as the weeks passed with no word I’m just hurt by it. And I feel sad and upset for his wife who has stuck by him through the whole thing. He didn’t stick by her.’
Instead three or four days after he was acquitted Zimmerman got into his truck, took one of the couple’s two dogs – part of Shellie’s divorce petition is for custody of both – and took off.
His behavior from then on has been, according to Mr Donnelly, a trained field medic: ‘Markedly abnormal.’
Within two weeks of his acquittal he made the news when he was pulled over for speeding in Forney, Texas.
He told officers he was carrying a gun – found in a shoebox in his truck asked the officer if he knew his face from television. :roll:
The previous week he had rescued a family of four from an upturned SUV less than a mile from where he shot Trayvon Martin.
Last month he was spotted looking at guns at the Kel-Tec weapons plant in Cocoa, Florida and just last week he was again stopped for speeding, this time very locally to where his estranged wife continues to live in Lake Mary.
According to Leanne: ‘That was the one that stung the most. To know that he was driving around so locally and not even making contact.’
George knew that hearing was coming up and he didn’t show. He wasn’t there for her. She was there by herself.’
She might have forgiven this, according to the couple, had she not had that doorstep encounter when she saw Zimmerman and his ex-fiancée together.
It put paid to any hopes that this was a passing phase or that the marriage could be saved.
Mr Donnelly said: ‘Shellie is a wonderful person. She’s still young. She can get on with her life. We’re here to support her in any way she needs.
‘But I don’t know where George’s head is.
‘It’s not just us. A lot of people who were involved in the trial really just don’t understand where his head is right now.’
On hearing the news of yesterday’s altercation Leanne described Zimmerman as ‘a powder keg ready to blow.’
She and her husband expressed ‘relief’ that nobody had been hurt. Both had been living in fear that, in his post-acquittal ‘recklessness’ Zimmerman would ‘get himself into a situation’ and end up hurt or dead.
Mr Donnelly admitted: ‘I’m fearful for him, for what he might get himself into. I would take that gun of his and throw it to the bottom of the nearest lake.
‘He’s burned every bridge that he’s ever had. And I don’t know how he’s going to come back because his bridges are gone.’

I was one of the first ones to support the mans right to defend him self when I saw photographs of his bruises.........But the mans behavior has been so unexplainable since his acquittal that I have to admit that Bliss and TDK and Loki and Tam and GoodLove and Chesbay and Andreboba and Aliona and Ra and Jaisee and Raider and flaminghetero and FG and medullaslashin all apparently saw something I did not see George Zimmerman......I have to concede, that their hunch that Zimmermans use of a gun might have been excessive was infact more accurate than mine.....
The last thing Johnny Cochran told O.J. Simpson before he died was: "The choices you are making for the public to see are irrational, learn to stay in control of your behavior and keep a lower profile”……Well now, I would like to apologize to all of these fellow forum members for mistakingly defending an irrational man……

You are only human, Arch. Every now and then one must eat that piece of humble pie or eat crow. One has to get used to the taste when they found out that they were wrong. You defended GZ in terms of the letter of the law and where it applies to the issue of self-defense. There's nothing wrong with that.
well stated arch. u r a man . however lets be fair.....in a divorce logic goes out the window and emotions take over. with that being said.....GZ not showing up for his wifes trial and bringing another woman to the crib is waaaaayyyy foul. not to mention he has a trend of doing foul crap minus TM.
