have you taken a stab at self-publishing? these days, self-publishing, self-marketing, and selling a few copies can be a valuable step in getting traditional publishers to take notice do it as an e-book
Don't have a resolution just a hope. I'm really hoping this is my last year in Virginia. It has been a blessing to come to here, even though I never wanted too. I want no parts of Northern Virginia, DC, Virginia Beach, or Richmond. They can keep the over priced real estate, and all of the silly gotcha common wealth rules. I feel sorry for the people that relocate here and become jaded by the lame qualities of this place. I have to say I have been traveling extensively since I got here and thank God for that because it is the only time I truly enjoy myself these days, except for the times I have out of town company. (I can entertain them here because they are never here long enough to see how lame it is lol) Other than that thank God work keeps me busy!! Anyway I am hoping to relocate to Florida or Texas. Florida because.........do I really need to say??? Texas because of all the great prices on real estate. A ranch would be nice. Perhaps my biggest fear is to one day find my self working in DC walking on egg shells and looking over my shoulders everyday for the back stabbing demagogues that base their self worth on job titles while they hide behind phony grins and hand shakes. Anyway I hoping for some good news this year ( on me getting the fuck out of here)
The YouVersion Bible app has tons of great reading plans. I did a chronological study (one-year plan) and I really liked that. It was cool to read the Psalms in context.
You got an interesting yet accurate grasp on the scene down there. Great to visit but wouldn't want to live there. For folks from my area they think it's cheap but just passing through DE and MD kills that notion.
Thanks, Ches. I am also reading a chronological study/plan, and so far I'm enjoying it. I always struggled trying to understand what I was reading when I tried reading the bible on my own. This chronological reading has been very easy for me to comprehend.
there are already 18 shops in denver city limits...i am thinking the best idea is to open in a border town to another state....you would not believe how far some people drove to partake in the new years day festivities...some limo companies are doing tours of the pot shops now and driving people around...there are so many different types of businesses opening it's just amazing i have so many ideas right now running through my head...first i am going to educate myself by getting a PT gig at one of the shops to learn everything i can.
18 shops, but how many grow ops? In my head the money is in only growing and now having a shop. Just sell to the shops and you are good. Depending on the size of your op, your goal should be at least 10 lbs every 4 months.
Yeah man this place is weird. You have a three mile beach but it is dirt water. You have three miles of bars on the beach, but you are not allowed to drink on the beach. There are not many known Colleges, any professional teams, or common attractions. Yet it is over crowded and the traffic sucks. There are tons of jaded women of mediocre caliber. Meet a decent one and her friends will still suck. On Atlantic ave and Grandby St you have almost as many Cops as you do clubbers. You have Cops on Horses and in Helicopters for no reason. Radar Detectors are illegal, if you get caught going over 80 mph you will have a criminal record for life. Any time in this place beyond a visit is pointless.
Yeah I noticed the mediocre women too. Either I've been spoiled living in NY or they have too many fours swearing they're tens.
some of the shops are doing their own growing...on new years day they were limiting how much people could buy even below the daily purchase amount because they were going to run out growing would be the way to go especially if there is a future opportunity to sell in other states as it is legalized...
I was in security. Now I will just be happy working in a movie theater or grocery store. Next month will mark my fourth year unemployed. I hope it is the last.
I am already considering self-publishing because agents are way too expensive and they are looking for the next J.K. Rowling or Dan Brown.
