I feel your pain! I love nutritional information being available everywhere, but it certainly can damper the mood lol. What I love about the nutritional content is that it gets people thinking and it allows them to make informed decisions. If its 1200 calories and 50 g of fat, and you still want it...go ahead and get it! At least we're aware of what we're putting in our bodies. Sometimes the info changes my mind as to what I really want to eat, but many times I'll still get what sounds good and I'll eat just half. Occasionally I just don't give a fuck and I'll eat the whole thing lol. Those are the times I make up for it with the next days run. We all need to be able to indulge every so often You actually did really good with the adjustments you've already made! You knocked your calories in half...and lettuce wrapped chicken sandwiches are even better than ones on a bun imo! It's your bday lunch - enjoy whatever the heck you want! I had similar results. For my weightless, I'd actually give diet 90% of the credit. It took me a while before I started really doing anything about exercise lol. I could control what I put in my mouth, no problem...it was the physical piece that took a lot more time for me to come around with. Plus, with most of the weight gone, exercising became a lot easier and it was more about toning than trying to shed pounds.
OMG...I hear you girl...I am back traveling and trying not to blow up like a balloon from all the sodium... Tricks: skip the bun and have it wrapped in lettuce...you can also skip the beef and do a turkey or veggie burger with the same toppings as your favorite I love red robin fries but I ask the waiter to just bring me 6 instead of a 1/2 plate of them...do a sparkling water with lots of lime instead of soda or lemonade Happy Birthday:smt113

No reason to fight. Thanks to everyone who replied! And thanks for the early birthday wish. That little exercise really opened my eyes to what I have to do in order to lose the weight I need to. I appreciate all of the great advice!
There just seems to never be enough time in the day! Saying that though, I'm still in bed and it's 4pm. Work has been manic, which is brilliant, but it's sooo physically demanding and I'm just sooooo dog tired. 1 lazy day in bed ain't gonna hurt no one
