I've never seen gas at 1.50...old timer lol

If I saw it in the $2 range I'd probably squeal with excitement lol. I swear I'd be hoarding that shit somehow lol

I love that you play with my old man jokes lol. I have no idea how old you are but I picture you mid 40s :)

Really?? I thought I remembered $1.99 with big decorations and everything because it was a gas station war but I certainly don't remember gas for a buck! I think you've got a lil old man syndrome too :)

Exactly, well put Lippy. I don't know why when another's struggles are brought up it suddenly becomes an argument about trivializing bm struggles. My posts had NOTHING to do with trivializing anyone's struggle, nor bringing out the oppression measuring stick.

Give me a break people, you're not the only humans on the planet with bad shit happening several times a day, every day of the week. Why can't we talk about it all? Why do we have to limit our oppression discussions to just bm???

Essentially, I'm reiterating what Bookie has already eloquently stated.

Dude you brought it up not to say hey look at this separate issue you were trying to correct me. Come on don't front. Of your intentions were otherwise it didn't come across that way

My bad it was around 98/99 but I knew it was during our driving years since we're the same age grandma lol

I'm not fronting. I just want more than one issue to be discussed, but seriously if it causes this much drama, I'll stop bothering and you can have your sausage fest/woe is me party here on wwbm, I mean bmbm.com.

I've never once trivialized the BM struggle, never once wrote that in any way. But in order to become more engaged with the forum, I thought I'd bring up the struggle of women. Which is very real, many of us have personally experienced and should be of some importance to the men who profess to love us.

If my intentions were unclear, then I am quite surprised that so many of the posters here understood the conversation and didn't turn it into "the oppression olympics."

What do you mean I was trying to correct you?

I wouldn't bother. Don't you know he can turn ANYTHING we say into "we have it so much worse".

I'm so done with this conversation. You can't win with TDK. He's always right no matter what.

But you are right about one thing, if TDK had his way, it WOULD become bmbm.com.

If you want more than one topic discussed Athena then start the thread. And for the love of God if you and Book and GL and whoever else has such an issue with my views and what I talk about just hit the ignore button. Two of you are intelligent enough to do so and you will never ever have to read another thing I post again. But nope that's not good enough, it's either see things your way or I'm trying to turn this into bmbm lol
We don't have to talk, I enjoy talking to you most times but if its that much of a burden hit ignore I won't be offended.

I only remember because when it got a little over that my parents made me pay for my own gas and then my own insurance. The nerve lol

Ohmygoodness, Im missing so many good posts that were buried. Outstanding summation Lippy.. will rep you if I can, when off this phone. Very much loving my wordly, aware sisters speaking so genuinely! And mad respect to the men who understand us, too.

Lmao you get no sympathy from me. My step dad bought me the car but I had to pay my own ins and gas from day one. I learned early on that rich people stay rich because they're cheap as fuck lol (or just maybe it was to teach me responsibility ;)).
