As if replacing workers with automated machines weren't enough in other industries............

Looks like companies are finally finding out its cheaper to employ something that doesn't require a weekly paycheck

This is why it's very important to learn a trade, skill or whatever that can't be outsourced to a fucking robot

This article just made me a little sick. Its going to get so much worst before it gets better. I really hope this inspires people to march on Washington. Fuck all our petty arguments this is the true challenge of the 21st century. What we do know will be the biggest decider of events in future human history.

Exactly....lack of a good educatipn is a lack of a job

And what happens when a good education doesn't matter because a machine can do it better

I think we're the only mammal on the planet that destroys its own environment.

It's sickening, because it's all due to the almighty dollar.

But when the environment runs out, the dollar isn't going to help anyone.

Except for those rich enough to live on the space station. They'll be the chosen ones smh

Buy water constantly. We buy jugs for everyday use and bottles to keep in a separate fridge for when were on the go. We rack up recycling like nobody's business lol. My parents got a filtration system built in their house. Not a bad set up ;)

Cheaper maybe. Better? Probably not. Would you rather be greeted by a robot or person? Businesses still have to compete with one another.

Yo, that's crazy. You gotta bite the bullet for a filtration sys. Can you shower in it then? Does it look bad and or smell bad?

Yeah I just hope people are smart enough to see whats right in front of them. Don't support this shit because it signals that consumers like robots better than people then we're in for a world of shit
Btw Education is incredibly cheap fucking institutions make it cost too damn much

Solar and filtration - definitely need to happen. We shower in it...doesn't smell bad or anything but if you filled up a bucket I can guarantee it would be cloudy water. Pretty nasty to even think about people drinking it (although I'm sure some do...my dad for example lol).

    This is the problem

Increases in education aren't really maintaining pace with creation of jobs, which is why you had article after article about unemployed college graduates

As college degrees become more commonplace like high school diplomas, ur going to end up with 4 year degree students working jobs that really don't even require a high school diploma and pay shit wages

    That's just how it is

    College educated burger flipper

I'm all for access to a decent college education for everyone, but let's be real

I don't how people do it. I have some friends that have well water, shit comes out tinged brown and smells like sulfur, rotten eggs or both depending whom you ask.

The disparity in cost of education between the north and south is huge when you look at the state colleges, but not so much with the private schools. I wonder how much it has to do with how funds are appropriated by the state governments.

    That's trifling, son

Because complete transparency when it comes to financial breakdowns of institutions (at least the state schools) would be too much like right.........

I'm sure many people would like to view instructor pay scales, upkeep, admin costs, etc to really see if they're just being ripped off lol

Imagine being able to collectively negotiate over ur educational costs

I need to clarify...education means to me from community college and trade school to phd.

So there no confusion. Society would not function with just engineers and no carpentars for example
