So, a friend of mine sent me the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy in PDF form over a year ago. I haven't read it, because I haven't wanted to...but with the movie out, I decided to see what all the fuss is about. Good God, is it a poorly written book. Here are some of my favorite quotes from it, that made me laugh out loud at their stupidity: And from a very tiny, underused part of my brain – probably located at the base of my medulla oblongata where my subconscious dwells – comes the thought: he’s here to see you. This book is reminding me of that Friends episode where Joey writes a letter to the adoption company for Monica and Chandler and uses a Thesaurus...on every word.
