Yeah its a little annoying because I have certain work and social shit that I don't think a non black person will grasp the same way, I need that level of empathy. I really wonder why more of us don't go into the profession. I'm sure there are plenty of us who want help.
I. Can't even. My sisters fiancee that has lived with me since october is driving me nuts! He is waiting for his Swedish companion visa and still no sign of it. He is like a 16 year old lazy drone. Works half time at Staples and hangs in his room the rest of the time, doing nothing. He comes into the living room and talk extremely loudly about his highschool friends, he needs to recall their name, the town they were from and how they looked and all other irrelevant shit... He has told me his surname history 1400 times. I DONT CARE. Every conversation ends up being a one sided conversation about irrelevant shit. You can't have a decent regular conversation with him. I feel bad that he aggravates me this much, info internal eyerolls every time! Geez. My friends won't come over because of his tendencies to give lectures about irrelevant shit. He has no social awareness at all. I suspect that he is on the aspergers spectrum so I deal but I just wish he gets that visa SOON. Rant off
lol true but way more likely During the Garner protests in the city my girl wanted to go to a friend's bday party out there. I said I didn't feel comfortable because cops were on some retaliation bs especially after those two cops got killed by that crazy asshole. My girl has a biracial niece and nephew, has a black sister in law, has me as bf and teaches in the inner city. She's kindest sweetest person I know but even she didn't get it.
