Movies with BM/WW Couples

Y'all seen the Dinner scene with Hildy/Kathleen Robertson's family during the episode that aired this week?

Her dad who is a retired cop said "Over my dead body you're with a Black" after her brother (who is part of the regular cast this season & is also a cop) trollingly suggested that she finally get with Terry, her Black partner.

Best part of that scene was what Kathleen's daughter said :smt109

They gave Wonder Woman a black love interest in her comic around ten years ago. He was an average guy, no super power or anything. The reaction by fans were ridiculous. They hated the guy. When giving reasons most hid behind some bs that didn't make any sense. Only a few were bigoted enough to come out and claim they objected because of race. The character didn't even last two years. He was killed off (no, they just couldn't let the guy leave town....he had to die). I believe it was the negative feedback that led to the character's demise.
What was the name of the character so I can look him up?

No one bothered to post the later trailers, so:

Emma Roberts has a black love interest played by Jacob Anderson (The dude who plays Greyworm on "Game of Thrones"). They end up kissing by the end of the movie.

‘Star Wars’ John Boyega Lands Lead In James Ponsoldt’s ‘The Circle’

by Mike Fleming Jr August 18, 2015 9:28am

EXCLUSIVE: John Boyega is certainly working with role-model leading men. Boyega, who catapulted from the indie gem Attack The Block to the lead role of Finn in the JJ Abrams-directed film Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens, has been tapped to star opposite Tom Hanks and Emma Watson in the James Ponsoldt-directed and scripted adaptation of Dave Eggers’ book The Circle. So he moves from sharing the stage with Harrison Ford, to

In The Circle, Boyega will play Ty, the iconized boy-wonder visionary of the Circle, an Internet monopoly which links users’ personal emails, social media, banking and purchasing with their universal operating system. The result is one online identity and a new age of civility and transparency. He and an employee (Watson) develop a relationship as the perils of life in a digital age inevitably arise.

The film is produced by Hanks and Gary Goetzman’s Playtone, along with Anthony Bregman’s Likely Story and Ponsoldt, and Walter Parkes and Laurie Macdonald of Parkes + MacDonald Image Nation. Image Nation Abu Dhabi is fully financing. IM Global is handling international sales on the film and U.S. rights are being jointly repped by UTA Independent Film Group and CAA

Boyega is repped by WME, UK agent Femi Oguns of Identity Agency Group, and Hansen, Jacobson.

Yessss!!!! I Just skimmed through the summary of the book on Wikipedia. Emma Watson is definitely an actress that I've wanted to see in an IR 'ship on screen.

It will be interesting to see some folks (racist fan-boys) react to seeing Hermione doing a love scene with a Brother.
