BLACK, WHITE...a bunch of stupid conventions to define what we are...

Of cooooouuuuuurse, we have to live with it...and even the name of this very site uses exactly that convention...

But if we wanted to be real and accurate, we would say: Brown, light brown, borwnish, pink, kinda pink, light pink, dark yellow, slightly yellow, almost red, etc...

    How ridiculous is all that??

Who cares what color you are???

    Oops...we all do...and that's our biggest flaw!!!!

    We shouldn't!!!

Thanks Jreminator for trying to bring what started out as ignorance to something good.

I think most people know that matters of race are about control and power but if people are going to consider themselves Black, they should step into their blackness with both feet and deal with the good and the bad and all things in between.
To ask if you're black just as a ruse to attract women.....
I think that shows the OP's true colors.

i agree...it also in a way shows a lack of pride and self esteem in ones own heritage . while i believe indians are more recently black than most groups.....they still have a distinct and separate culture from the people that we generally consider to be black....so again its like he's trying to fit in with a different group because he lacks self-esteem and that's not very attractive at all.
