American Women

Chosen, I normally agree with everything in your posts. I think that you are wise beyond your years. However, I just have to question this part of your post. Do you feel that all American white women were raised this way??

No, I don't think all American white women are raised this way. I think that in terms of percentages (we would never know obviously), white women may be more likely to be raised with either the mindset that they need to stay away from BM, embrace all races or not to speak about race at all. My guess is that Europeans view blacks as more benign...not that they "like" us more but just don't see as a threat to their way of life. I may be a black Panther at heart but I try not to generalize about whites whenever possible...I love women (white women included)...good discourse!

 

I didn't think that you probably felt that all American white women were raised this way, but your post alluded to that. I was just trying to keep you from making generalizations about how all American WW were raised. I wasn't raised this way, and I'm sure other WW here weren't raised that way either. I wasn't trying to cause trouble. I just wanted a little clarification. Thanks. :smt023
