I've seen those fiber optic ones and I love them. The way the lights/colors are so flowy and stuff. I wish I had purple lights. I love purple! I'm getting some next Halloween. Good luck with the foily star!
I was going to go pretty bare on the decorations since my realtor told me no big tree while your house if for sale and my fake one is really big. I was at the store at lunch and saw an Elf tree. It is a real tree that is about 2 feet tall. So here it is. I will update when I put decorations on it. I set it up and put water in the base left and came back later to find my dog drinking all of the water. He is so dumb. . He was like cool.........new water dish with a tree sticking out of it. That's right. Wire fox terrier. He has all the personality traits of terrier, playful and downright naughty at times. Very cute personality and very lovable but he is prone to moments of plain stupid behavior. I didn't get him for his smarts though. I did wrap a tree skirt over the tree pan so he hasn't had a drink lately.
My family is not decorating this year until we all get to my mom's house so I was feeling left out! Thanks for posting your greats pics everyone. It is nice to see some decorations in my house. We are traveling with our decorations. Tell me how that makes sence:smt031.

Thanks Unique. I'm always surprised that not everyone has a fireplace. They are in every house and apartment I've been in around here and it doesn't even get super cold for more than a couple weeks out of the year. I always think of Germany as much colder with a longer winter, so stands to reason everyone there should definitely have a fireplace. I know my logic is flawed, but I still think everyone should have one. Thank you Jordan. I tried to rep you for your post because the water dish with a tree comment made me LOL, but I can't rep you yet. Maybe once you decorate your elf tree, the dog will figure it out. Yours are lovely too Dreaming. Your taste is similar to my own, I think we must shop the same places.
