are body piercings and tatoos hot to you or a turn off

Single pierced ear. Tatts are okay on arms/shoulder/upper back, but in moderation. But mostly depends on the guy. Some guys just look better with earrings, or any kind of jewelry for that matter. Same for the tatts. If it's under his shirt when I meet him, I guess I wil eventually be (pleasantly?) surprised - unless it's the name of his ex-girlfriend or mom!

Tattoos generally look good on just about anyone if they are done by a talented artist and the design is pleasing. I don't have a strong preference for or against. Same with piercings, though I'm not a fan of tongue or lip piercings on anyone. The only piercings I have are my ears, and no tattoos yet. Like Tarshi, I plan to get one in a couple months on the back of my neck.

I have never and won't ever date a woman with tattoos. I find body art of any type to be repulsive.

In fact, I'm so turned off by tattoos that if I somehow ended up with one, I'd stop masturbating.

FUCKING HOT!!! The more the better. Put more holes in you, put more ink on you.....ok, that sounded weird, but the moar tats and piercings the moar betterer!!!!!! Add some black nail polish and dyed hair, and it's FUCKING FUCKIN HOT!

I can't wait to get another tat.

Oh, and thanks for posting that dick-with-pole-through-cock pic, LA. Needed that shit. :vom:

i must admit i am rather surprised by the strong opinions about body art in this thread. but to each their own, whether you like em or find them "disgusting", just remember there is always someone out there that may change your opinion on the subject. hahaha

as far as my 2 cents on the thang... i say as long as the work matches your personality, rock it.

I love a man with tattoos. But only if tastefully done. Some people go way overboard.

I myself have one tattoo. A butterfly on my left shoulderblade. But, I don't liek it for a number of reasons (of which I won't go into.) But, I am getting it covered soon with a tattoo that represents my struggle with acceptance, love, fear, and pain. So far, the idea is half done. I just have to finish it than take it to get it done.

Tattoos are okay on a guy if they aren't disgustingly large and if they look good on him. I'm not a huge fan of them, but I'd deal with them for the right guy.

Piercings? Eh. Not a fan of any piercings on a man.

have you planned on what the tattoo will be yet lovely?

l believe that many tattoos tell a story of ones life, either where they're going, been or are.

Yep, got it all planned out Tarshi. I'm getting a small phoenix, the mythological bird, on the back of my neck. I'm thinking about 2" - 3" tall, with an inscription, but I haven't firmly decided what that will be yet. We'll have to swap pics when we get them done.

I always thought that I didn't like tattoos, but I've just realized that the last three guys that I've been with had tattoos. So, apparently, I like them more than I thought. LOL I just like for them to be where they can be covered if they need to be. I think that face or neck tattoos would be a huge no for me. I don't mind earrings, but I wouldn't be able to handle the big hole in the ear. It kind of grosses me out.

it's a deal!!! i'm going with a girlfriend to see her regular artist when she's visiting between 13-19 april. i'm petrified of needles so it will be a huge challenge for me, which is another reason why i'm doing it...i like pushing myself when faced with something i'm fearful of.

My sister has 4 tattoos, so I'm going with her recommendation on an artist since hers are all good quality, though I don't actually like a couple of them, they are nicely done.

The needle thing doesn't bother me in the least, but I've heard that women tolerate it better than men. In general I think if you have a decent pain tolerance you'll do good. It should also help if you don't watch, so find something else to look at.

Your welcome to your opinion, but to answer the question posed: Yes, they are definitely hot to me. The more the merrier. ON women, I rarely see inch wide "gauges" in their ears, but that would probably be taking it too far. Tats rule, and i don't care if a chick has 5 holes or 45 holes, its all good to me

    You two need to quit...lol

Being born when only Motorcycle Gangs, Ex-Cons and people that served in the military had tattoos/piercings, it was fine when only a few people had it making it unique, but after about 15 years in the mainstream of Western Culture its out of control.

This is also apart of the mainstream acceptance of the BDSM lifestyle too with not only all the above but spikes, black makeup and black dyed hair as well. Don't forget the pink streaks and all other kinds of colors -

When does it stop? 20somethings with shocking pink Nike/Converse shoes, wearing eye makeup... :smt067

    Back on topic -

I like clean skin, unblemished. Its already hard trying to find a woman without heavy makeup.... The tramp stamp is out of style and trashy, I wish women would stop getting them, really.

You make a very good point there GG. :smt043

Sorry, if a man ever pulled his pants down and I caught a glimpse of that I don't know how long I'd be sticking around. :smt107 It just gives me the creeps. I like a little pain but I cannot imagine how much that hurt.
