How? You've never had to apply it kid. I think you know what works for you or even a small select group of friends but it's like when men on here tell you guys that career and money matter to most women no one is saying it because they are jaded. Its tried and applied knowledge ma.

Fam a lot of these women have insanely myopic povs on these thing. They think what might work for them(even though evidence usually shows they don't practice what they preach) doesn't apply to most women.
In an either or situation women usually pick the more outgoing better looking guy over the "librarian" type. Just a fact of life.

True, my statement was just based on my experiences, and those (like you said) of my social circle. Of course I don't speak for all women...I'm sure there are some females who are completely superficial in their search for a mate. I do believe though, that many men underestimate how sexy intelligence is. That was my point.

Is it superficial since so many do it or just survival? It's what I see so more often than not so maybe it's just the norm plain and simple.

I've heard you say you're an equal opportunity dater plenty of times but you clearly have a type like most people do.

It might be the "norm" but that doesn't mean it's not superficial.

I do think I'm an equal opportunity dater (as many women here have stated they are)...I guess if I were the one approaching men then I'd agree with your point. However, that's not how it happens. I do think it's interesting that they guys who approach me are all very similar in their build, attitude, professions even...but that's all coincidence (I live in a huge military city, it's not rocket science lol).

Most women (grown women, not girls) wouldn't date a man just because he's nice to look at. If there's no substance, chemistry, intelligence...there's no dating. Not speaking for all women, just my experiences.

I also think you attract what you put out there. If you think all women are out for a meal ticket and rock hard abs, maybe that's what you'll find.

god yes those kinds of guys are very attractive, but thats only human nature to find it so.
My fella is only two inches taller than me and he is very chunky indeed, but not in the body builder way. Yes he is 'big', and I have to admit that I have never before found that attractive, but dayummmmm I fancy the pants off him!
