MAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN!! The Powers That Be had HP sucking & Fucking every other dude on that ABC series for two seasons . . . but not her Black Bodyguard Bubba. He barely gets any dialogue so I know even showing the slightest bit of interracial has to be on Collen's part since she's producing it now and has an interracial family herself guess ABC wouldn't let her do so previously but MTV/VH1/BET said come on with it lolWOW!!!!! Hayden Panettiere is an actress I've been waiting forever on + I'm SHOCKED they would have the female lead on a CMT show have a black love interest.![]()
@darkcurry How you think gonna play out though?![]()
This on is a little surprising looks like there is going to be some IR action in the tv show Nashville which is now airing on CMT

Who is Collen? What IR family?MAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN!! The Powers That Be had HP sucking & Fucking every other dude on that ABC series for two seasons . . . but not her Black Bodyguard Bubba. I've come to the conclusion outside of indy/limited release & foreign movies I'm starting to think the only way BMWW onscreen will be done right is if both characters are supporting characters like on this show or Diggle & Lyla on "Arrow". Even if it was a black movie or TV show, BW aren't gonna support it if the Black Male lead has a ww as his main love interest. So it's gotta be a supporting character.I know, that's why I think it was just used to set up and lead people away from caring about it and caring about relationships she has had with white guys
more. They even gave her better chemistry with Barry/The Flash.
It's all just starting to look like a way to purposely get audiences to stop caring for IR relationships with the way they are writing and producing them to
when it no longer has an big audience and fan support they can have an excuse not to continue with much of it. That's my theory.
To me the one best IR relationship on TV in the past 5 years we're Travis and Sonya from Continuum

Even though they broke up and fought. They did get back together and the show never really treated their
relationship as a doomed IR relationship nor did they give her another lover to fall in love with. When they put them
back together they showed how strong the relationship was between the two.
Bad ass couple.
And she was killed off unnecessarily. On Empire the brother who is one of the owner's sons who's married with a WW were a scheming pair.
It's like they killed her off so they could introduce some ratchet black chick into the fold. They totally lost me with that shit. I no longer watchAnd she was killed off unnecessarily.

Yeah, IDK if I'm gonna even bother with 2nd half of the season. It's like they killed her off so they could introduce some ratchet black chick into the fold. They totally lost me with that shit. I no longer watch

I'm watching the mid-season premiere of the NBC sitcom "The Good Place" (Season 1, Episode 10) that aired this past week. They got 2 women (Kristen Bell & this British Indian/White biracial chick played by Jameela Jamil) fighting over the Brotha.
This reminded me that outside of maybe black movies/tv shows, you never see BM involved in love triangles with 2 other women. The only other time I've seen it is on Season 1 of "Supergirl".
I just watched that episode
**Spoilers**
Both chicks friendzone him by the end of the episode.
DC,I would not hold my breath on a WW/BM verison of a Monster's Ball type of movie when a White actress win the role like Hallie Berry in the Oscars. CB1,Kristen Bell did a great job on House Of Lies. That series had more IR lovin than I had ever seen on any series on TV. Don Cheedle did great too.
A star is born... and then learns to be careful what you wish for on Famous in Love, Freeform's soapy new drama featuring Bella Thorne as a basic (but pretty!) college student who becomes a celebrity overnight.
On the series, from Pretty Little Liars executive producer I. Marlene King, Paige (Disney Channel star Thorne) lands the lead role in the Hollywood adaptation of books that are "the biggest thing since Harry Potter" -- a premise that's based on Rebecca Serle's YA romantic novels. But this ain't no totally sappy story: "We made it a lot more dramatic and sexy and edgy than the books," King said Tuesday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.
Paige goes -- within weeks -- from an ordinary university life to Maui, where she's on a movie set and caught in a love triangle between co-stars Rainer (Carter Jenkins) and Jordan (Keith Powers). We'll see how the star balances sudden fame, romance and a lack of privacy -- things Thorne knows well. "Paige will struggle with who she is and what everybody knows her to be," said Thorne, who's been famous since she was a tween and has documented her life out loud via Snapchat. "I've been there its not a fun road to look in the mirror and not know who you are."
Like many celebs, Paige will discover that, even if she's hanging with friends, she'll be papp'd and her goings-on will be made fodder for magazines. "The media will make it seem like she's a ho or whatever," said Thorne. "She becomes jaded. She gets screwed over so many times" that Paige slips into the Hollywood lifestyle without realizing it.
And since Famous in Love comes from soon-to-be-departed Pretty Little Liars producer I. Marlene King (and will follow PLL), you better believe there will be a little mystery too: early on Paige will be investigating what happened to a missing pop star. "It's as twisty and curvy as Pretty Little Liars but the twists are dramatic. If a dead body comes, I know what to do with it," King teased.
Famous in Love will premiere Tuesday, April 18 at 9/8c on Freeform.
